A little history on our namesake:
The Linwood Hotel: John B. Pullis established the Linwood Hotel in about 1888. Located on the Southeast corner of South Clinton Avenue and Linden Place, the Linwood Hotel temporarily housed WW1 Navy flyers from the Bay Shore Aero Station while their barracks were being constructed. The Linwood was destroyed by fire on October 11, 1925.

We always enjoy exploring the menu and seasonal drinks at The Linwood. Portions are perfect, flavors are perfectly balanced, all ingredients are super fresh, and the staff is attentive and very friendly. We’ve never had a bad bite of food here

Very reasonable martini and steak promo. The steaks and martinis were both excellent as was the arugula salad, and brussel sprout side. Service was friendly and professional. Seating was comfortable and private...no complaints.

Great staff. Great cocktails. Happy Hour worth the visit. All the food is delicious. Will definitely come back. Love the vibe too.

Came here on a Tuesday night with out of town collegues. Very nice inside. Good service. Cocktails were excellent. Food is good not exceptional and leans towards the heavier side. Will try again in the summer to see if there is some lighter fare.

Really love the Linwood. We went for restaurant week and were told it ended an hour before our reservation. Nothing to that effect on your website or the rest week menu, no notice, and nothing more than being told that’s how it is. So that was disappointing. Still enjoyed our meal and experience.

The appetizers,cocktails, main corse, desserts & ambiance are amazing! I am a returning customer and have had many dishes, can not pick a favorite.

The Linwood never disappoints! The food is always delicious and interesting and the service was spectacular! We sat in the side room so it was quieter than the main restaurant which was nice.
