A great restaurant if you are looking for ambiance, character, meat. I’m not a big fan of restaurant specific cocktails they are generally overpriced and the results ate ok. Personally for them i’d go throwback to African safari and simplify…great gin martini, great bourbon and soda, etc. Their wines are excellent.

This place is awesome! First, the service was excellent from the minute I walked in. Immediately was sat, had my menu for a few moments and my drink order was taken. The ambiance is so cool. Great and fun vibe. Felt like we were in a hunter's lodge on LSD. The food was delicious and completely different. Cannot wait to come back again.

Great experience! Food was delicious! Unique atmosphere. Husband and I went for our anniversary and to try something new. We had a great time and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were amazing. Would highly recommend if you want to try something different!

Amazing, as always! We went for my husband’s birthday as it is his favorite restaurant. He got venison chops and rich, hearty French onion soup and declared it excellent. I’m a vegetarian and thus I am a challenge for the staff, but they accommodated my requests and didn’t brown my bread in beef fat and I had a lovely time.

We LOVE The Lion's Share! Everything about it is great...food, cocktails, service, ambiance. We have loved this little neighborhood gem and are sad we are moving away from it. We will come back when we come back to San Diego but have some very happy memories there. David is the best!

So glad we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant! Awesome food, meticulously prepared with exciting combination of ingredients. Very attentive and nice staff. It’s a downtown hip restaurant so expect crowds, noise, and high energy.

Swrvice was incredibly slow. The service staff was friendly but it took a long time before table visits. In seating it was 10-15 mins before staff came over. Food was very good. Serving portions were huge.
