Food was not seasoned very well, atmosphere was nice, you can tell it's great in the evening for drinks & apps. We tried to order a few things at first and were told they weren't available so we ended up with the mac and cheese and shrimp & grits. It was fine but I'm not dying to go back. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us often.

I was really looking forward to trying this place based on the reviews. I booked a 10:30 brunch time in hopes to beat the brunch crowd, which we did, but we had a toddler with us so we were hoping to get out of there faster than we did. Unfortunately the service was very slow even with the restaurant only 1/4 full. It seemed as though the hostess was also our server. It took her a while to get us our drinks and then our food took over 30min for 3 omlets. When the food arrived they didnt know what was what in the omlets we ordered. They said things like "this is the one with mushrooms" and two of us had mushrooms. My omlet was overcooked, infact seemed dry/burnt. I ordered chedder cheese in mine and when I asked the server/ person who brought it out if i could have a side of cheese because i didnt see any in it, they firmly told me "the cheese is mixed in" which i guess meant I wasnt getting a side of cheese... I ordered the fruit as my side which was a very disapointing serving of melon and pineapple - like what you get on a cheap breakfast buffet. Sadly I will not be returning to this establishment. I paid close to $20 for a cup of basic coffee, an overcooked omlet, average breakfast pototaes and a side of cheap fruit. Would have been nice to have some berries in there!

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would! We had a 6:30 reservation and arrived on time. We noted the entire bar full with people with name tags so some sort of pre-arranged function was taking place. It took forever for anyone to greet us. We placed a drink order and an appetizer order. We eventually got our appetizers but they were tepid at best. The cheese fondue was barely warm enough to dip into. At 7:13 we still had no drinks. That is 43 minutes and no drinks arrived at all, we only ordered wine and beer, nothing difficult. The people in the bar had plenty to drink though. We asked for our check and left. $50+ for appetizers we didn't eat! The manager walked by several times but made no effort to talk to us. The wait staff (when they did approach us) leaned over the wall from the bar, they couldn't be bothered to actually come to our table. We told the hostess on our way out and she just shrugged. Don't waste your time or money, just skip it.

Reservations for 2/14 didn’t mention anywhere that they were doing a valentines day only $80 for 2. I like many others walked out right when we got there. I hope to come back and have a better experience sometime and actually try the food.

We were super excited to try the Local Tampa, their menu looked amazing. So we make a reservation and arrive. The hostess stops us at the door and points to a piece of paper on the counter. No greeting. Just "we aren't doing the menu tonight, there is only one option; salad, steak, dessert, no substitutions and it's $40." Okay? The place looks nice enough, I've always heard the food is great, lets do it. The hostess seems surprised we would like a seat. We don't even mention the reservation, the place is pretty empty and its a small place, maybe 20 tables, tops. We take a seat and she asked how we would like our steaks and leaves. We get a salad, its romaine with Cesar dressing (like from a bag) nothing impressive. Our steaks arrive with shrimp skewer on top. The shrimp is raw... like not a little... like someone seared it for 10 seconds and covered them in blackening seasoning and served it. Since we didn't really have a waiter/waitress tending to us. We eventually had to raise our hand to have someone come over to take it back. The wait staff seemed stressed and annoyed. There was a young man who worked there aggressively running back and forth and at some point angrily yelled across the restaurant to a waitress. We watched 2 couples come in, take a seat and after being ignored for too long, just get up and leave. It was awkward. The TVs were playing basket ball games and the one near the bar just kept advertising for divorce lawyers (on Valentines Day, we had a laugh about it). Anyways, I was super excited about trying this place but I won't be back. It was just weird. The staff wasn't overworked and annoyed, the kitchen was dishing out raw shrimp and the atmosphere had great potential, but it was just ruined. We left around 9. There was one other table with people at it. I feel like maybe everyone else in the area knew something I didn't. Pass.

Overall it was definitely an awesome dining experience! Sat at the bar and their bartender Anthony was outstanding even though it was super busy he made sure we were taken care of! Can’t wait to go back!

There was no notice given that the menu was a pre-fix Valentine’s Day menu anywhere on the restaurants website or instagram, nor was I alerted through OpenTable. We picked this restaurant purposefully for their general menu and when we were told that the dinner was only the pre-fix and it was $80 for 2, plus we’d have to pay another $40 for the third person in our party we were very upset and left. This was supposed to be a reunion dinner for myself and my two siblings and we ended up having to reschedule because we purposefully made a reservation as it was Valentine’s Day. And due to that and the fact we left The Local we were unable to find accommodations elsewhere. Which we shouldn’t have had to do if we were clearly informed about the change in menu for that night.

No food was eaten. We had reservations but we were not told of special menu which we did not want. Disappointed. Bad marketing move

Fixed expensive pre-prepared Valentines Day menu. No one told us when we made the reservation. Hostess was unprofessional in demeanor and dress.

We shared appetizers..the charcuterie board & beer cheese fondu. Both were excellent and very tasty! We enjoyed two spicy margaritas..hats off to the bartender..delish!
