Enjoy the sweet delicacies of Afternoon Tea in the comfort of your home this winter season. Place your order for pick-up in The Velvet Glove Restaurant, every Sunday at 1:30PM. Each order has a minimum of 2 servings. Orders have to be placed & pre-paid before 10pm of Friday (or while quantities last) for next Sunday pick up. Your order has to be 100 % pre-paid. Payment is not refundable. After you create a reservation, our Team will contact you and proceed with charges. Please make note of any intolerances or allergies in comments during booking. Cozy lounge, great place to get a bite to eat before a show. Our waiter was excellent, food was very good. Very tasty craft cocktails.

Service was good but my meal was not very good. I had calamari which was as tough as rubber bands. My main course was under the heat lamp too long and my dessert was stale. The service was very good. Could have been an off night in the kitchen.

I hosted a birthday party for 10 at the lounge in the evening. And a birthday lunch for 5 the same day. Fantastic experience. Ksenia was wonderful to deal with. They accommodated a special request meal-kudos to the pastry chef for an amazing cake in the evening as well as a special low sugar individual desserts at lunch. I recommend booking a special party or event at the lounge. Great experience for all!

I had the filet mignon. Ordered it medium rare it came out medium. They took it back and it came back med rare. The meat itself was not very good at all. It was almost like it was meat glued. The mashed potato and veggies were bland and just warm. My bf had the burger which he raved about. The server was terrific, very apologetic. Was not her fault as she didnt cook my meal. They did remove the steak from my bill and i made sure to tip 25%. Overall I would go back and try the burger.

The food and service was good. Could not really enjoy the meal as the restaurant was very warm.

I can’t say enough about this lounge! Amazing food, absolutely stellar service, the environment is so relaxing ! There are two ladies that serve there that absolutely make you feel that you are a celebrity, so kind, so professional, so quick, such perfection, it’s top notch service that keeps us going back! Well done!

Had a reservation to celebrate a couple of birthdays. When we arrived the table was not ready. The waiter literally threw the menus onto the table. The table was right in the middle of the room and right behind the barstools which was awkward. Not a well laid plan for the lounge. Waiter said he was not told there was a reservation and that for a group of 5 this was all that was available. Food was good. Service was a bit slow. Overall was okay but disappointed with the service. It’s the Fairmont and you would expect a high calibre of service especially at the prices being paid. Definitely could have been much better.
