Aimee Olexy and Stephen Starr's The Love is a bi-level sanctuary features 150 seats, split between the main dining room, sidewalk seating, and an upper-level loft.     The service was decent, though it seemed to prioritize larger groups spending more money. The food was good overall, but the grits and greens served with the chicken didn’t meet my expectations—they lacked flavor, and it was odd that they were served in ramekins instead of as part of a cohesive dish. The upstairs atmosphere is much more enjoyable than downstairs. The prices are high, but that’s to be expected. The hosts could improve their demeanor—they didn’t smile or seem particularly enthusiastic about being there.

    This was an awesome experience! The vibe is unmatched ! A perfect blend of causal dining meets fine dining meets city romance! The food is top notch and the drinks are excellent! The perfect place for all occasions 12/10!

    We celebrated two family birthdays at one of our favorite restaurants. Our drinks, wine, appetizers, and main courses were exceptional. I highly recommend the rigatoni with short rib, as well as the crispy branzino! Our server, Catherine provided exceptional service throughout the meal. We felt very welcome at The Love. Thank you.

    The food is always great! The service was wonderful. Just keep in mind that it is the weekend and it gets crowded. Just be patient and you won’t regret your meal or experience♥️

    We all had a delicious meal. I had the Meyer lemon risotto and it was delicious. Others in my party had the scrambled eggs and the shrimp and grits and all really enjoyed their meals. We also shared the rolls with peach jam and of course the bacon. Yum! We were seated upstairs which was a bit less crowded and very nice. Our server, Mark, was excellent. We look forward to our next meals at The Love.

    We went for brunch before attacking some holiday shopping. Everything was perfect. The hardest thing was deciding what to order. Beautiful table, attentive service and food impeccably prepared with a creative presentation. We Love the LOVE!

    The food blew out tops off and Lauren was 10 out of 10 outstanding! We canceled dessert because we hit our wall, and she surprised us with two cups of sorbet just so we could taste… thoughtful and generous and wonderful.

One of the standout features of their menu is the unique twist they put on classic Southern cuisine. Among their offerings, the side potatoes are a highlight—cooked to perfection, they are simply one of the best I've ever tasted.     I had a nice day experience at The Love because I was meeting up with some old friends I hadn’t seen in a few years. For that, the atmosphere was great. I wasn’t really there for the food but even with that I was disappointed. Why? I ordered the Chicken Caesar but there was almost no chicken. Perhaps less than an ounce. So I’d go back for a meetup with friends as it was quiet enough to talk, the staff was great - they were friendly, attentive and didn’t try to rush us. But if you’re hungry and want some protein steer clear of the Chicken Caesar.

    It’s always a pleasure to dine at The Love!. The menu is generous and tasty; and the wine and beverage selections are spot-on. A special mention on the flavorful and hearty mushroom soup!
