   Busy Harvard Square spot clearly popular with large groups of family and friends. Seated at a window-side table, our group shared paneer pakoras and spicy samosas to start. One diner had lamb vindaloo, another had paneer makhni, and one had tandoori salmon, all served with basmati rice. Everyone was happy with their meals. Our server was helpful in navigating the menu, and reasonably (not intrusively) attentive throughout the meal. Other staff were welcoming as we arrived and thanked us as we departed. The building entrance we used on JFK St. required climbing stairs (but had good hand rails). Wheelchair access is on the Winthrop St side of the building. This second-floor restaurant is then accessible via stairs and elevator, and restrooms were available within the restaurant on the main level.

   I ordered the Palek Paneer and Rogan Josh - both were delicious. We arrived for an early dinner due to theatre. It was quiet, staff most attentive. When we finished our meals the restaurant had become absolutely full and yet the waitstaff was still on their game. Thank you Maharaja

   Always a pleasure to come here - it’s my go to place in Harvard Square - I’ve been coming here for years- a very pleasant experience every time

   DELICIOUS! I mean, the ways in which they can make chicken and lamb taste SOOO good can not be counted!! Wonderful, gem in Harvard!

   Terrific Indian food served with care and efficiency. This is an excellent restaurant that deserves notice from anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine. Good vegetarian dishes round out the complete menu.

   The food, the cocktails, the service, and the atmosphere were all fantastic as usual. It has become a regular goto for us.

   It was a great experience with an amazing view when sitting by window. Portions are large.

   I went here with my Girlfriend for valentines Day! It was such a great date spot and the service and ambiance was top notch. They gave every table a rose and chocolates on their way out to celebrate the special day. Would highly recommend this place to anyone for date night or just great Indian food!

    Excellent service! Delicious paneer dishes and different varieties of Naan. We loved that there are quiet places to enjoy one’s dinner.
