   lovely birthday meal out for 6. portions were good size and service was attentive and efficient considering how busy they were on a sunday lunchtime. we had 4 roast sunday lunches and two lamb shanks followed by various desserts. asked us several times if everything was ok. two slight negatives. food could have been hotter and desserts weren’t bought to table at the same time. two people had to wait for theirs and as the others ice creams were melting they carried on eating without them. not really an issue to us to be fair and everyone enjoyed their desserts and the portions were a good size. this is our third visit and will definitely return.

   Very nice meal for my parents anniversary! My wife was particularly happy with the vegan options! The code and pancetta fish cakes starter was a highlight! Thank you

   Just had a wonderful birthday meal with the children and grandchildren. Everyone catered for food was delicious and waiters just so helpful. Good value for money and excellent for GF as one of our daughters is celiac. So pleased we chose this as children were happy with the food too. Would recommend this to anyone

   Loverly evening. Food was beautiful and very generous size portions, even had to take a doggy bag home. Definitely going back

   Gave it a low overall score because of how cold, it was so uncomfortable that it spoilt the evening. I thing that the Malt House will be relegated to a summer treat.

   Was cold in the restaurant. Sat and ate our food with our coats on. Food was average from the pub grub menu.

    My partner and I both chose a ribeye steak, best steak I’ve had in a long time and the service was good too
