The Martlet has earned sincere fondness from customers for many years. Situated in picturesque Langford Budville, just a stone's throw from Wellington, we offer really fantastic food and genuinly warm hospitality. Inside our pretty country pub you'll find log burners, 17th century flagstone floors and a delightful glass dining room.

Our menu is a blend of stand-out restaurant-style dishes, tempered with comforting pub favourites. All created and prepared by our talented team of Chefs - Marcin, Shane and Alfie. Combine this with our fabulous cask ales - brewed in-house at our very own Black Bear Brewery, or a glass of wine supplied by local vinter Paddy Magill. Country dining at it's best.

We could not fault the welcome, friendliness and care given by the staff, everyone we came into contact with was lovely We took our young puppy and it was no problem we were welcomed in The food was delicious and beautifully presented

I went on a blind date 6 months ago and being valentines day thought it would be romantic to return. The welcome , the service , the food and more importantly the fabulous welcome to make us feel special sets the martlett inn better than other local places . The food was delicious and beautifully presented . Highly recommended if you want to feel special . Superb thank you from a couple who will always remember our 1st kiss and the day we met at a beautiful restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere sitting next to the wood burner. Delicious fish with chilled white wine. Friendly staff. The perfect way to spend a cold February day.

A lovely country pub with a warm welcome. We enjoyed a very (generous) tasty Sunday lunch with all fresh produce. Highly recommend a visit.

Took advantage of Steak Night (Thursdays), + desserts. Food was exceptional.

Our first visit but not our last! Excellent Sunday lunch menu and food to match. My wife's roast chicken was outstanding and perfectly cooked. Deserts great as well plus really good value wine by the glass. Service excellent and food piping hot even though very busy.
