A fine dining restaurant in London that fuses African heritage and cuisine with modern culinary techniques and contemporary décor.

Each dish is planned and prepared carefully. From knowing exactly where our steak comes from and how it was raised, to sourcing local ingredients, and designing each new menu with seasonal produce in mind. This way, we know that our suppliers have the same values and take the same care when it comes to crafting exceptional meals for diners as we do.

Celebrated my birthday here. Overall ambience is 10/10. Food was very good you won’t be disappointed. Service from Summer was great. However they were very slow to bring out food and especially the drinks. Felt as if we were waiting for a while. Also felt rushed towards the end of the night to take pictures as the decor is pretty. Security was rushing us out.. BUT I would go back, probably just for a date night or dinner with the girls.

Amazing food and a great atmosphere! The restaurant has a nice, chill vibe and feels like a great local spot. Perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend!

Calamari and beef croquettes were good. Service was very slow despite it not being busy when we got there. Waited 25 minutes for two drinks and had to remind the waiter. Mains took really long and was lukewarm when arrived. I had to send the beef ribs back to be put on the grill. It took 15-20 minutes and the inside was still not pipping hot and was still Lukewarm. Im pregnant and did not want to risk having food that was not hot on the inside. Over all the wait time for the food was about 1hour 30minutes. I only ate the chips from the main because at the end I was tired and my guest had already finished her burger which she said was underwhelming. We really wanted to love this place as we used to go to the White City branch often but it wasn’t that great. We were also told we were not allowed to take pictures with flash, despite seeing other tables doing the same. Our waiter seemed unbothered and like we were annoying him. The service doesn’t match up to the restaurant considering that it is in Mayfair. I wouldn’t run to go back here again unfortunately.

Lovely meal here, service was really excellent. Only thing was a small draught kept us needing our jackets on but maybe our seat was near the door

I loved it here. 🥹 service was so fast & impeccable. I had the seabass & a side of truffle mac n cheese with a gorgeous glass of red ❤️ truly sensational & so flavourful! Such a cozy setting with an amazing taste in music for the background. Thank you so much to Nina & Bruce, such kind members of staff that were so so helpful & overall amazing! Thank you for making my experience truly luxe 🫶

It was so bad the service was terrible , the food was average we weren’t even approached for our order until an hour being in there.

We had lunch here for the 1st time last week. Very nice decor in a beautiful setting in Mayfair. great staff, good wine list and excellent menu. The food was wonderful, we had beef ribs and the rib eye which were done perfectly well. It was a really pleasant experience and we will be back.

The overall experience at The Meat & Wine Co was pretty uninspiring. Firstly, we were made to wait for our table for nearly 5 min but upon being shown to the table, it was clear the restaurant was pretty empty. So the delay was confusing. There is little to no ambience or buzz at the place. It feels like it's a last resort for people going out in Mayfair who couldn't find a better option. One of party ordered a lager and the staff brought an ale. The next time around, they brought a wheat beer. After informing them again that the order was wrong, the waiter said he would make sure the other beers were removed from the bill. I was shocked that there was even a chance they were on the bill, since we had not ordered them. The food was actually pretty good and the timings were fine. But the evening was pretty spoiled by the beer service.
