Old Town Scottsdale’s heart beats to a Latin drum at The Mission where renowned Chef Matt Carter (Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox) brings a modern twist to Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America.

Sip a signature margarita with unique flavors such as cucumber jalepeno or aguacate (yes, we said avocado) as you watch your Tableside Guacamole made to your taste from more than a dozen fresh ingredients.

Home made tortillas, and salsas are made fresh daily to accompany an assortment of meats and seafood prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor. And save room for dessert including our pumpkin bread pudding or expresso churros.

Great service & food. Various tacos, the filet, guacamole to start and Caesar salad. All very good. Unfortunately tables have been crammed together so not the ambiance you’d expect for this price point.

Eclectic, dark and moody, fun music and delightful and efficient staff! Absolute MUST in Scottsdale. Katie, our waitress , was knowledgeable, energetic and helped us plan our meal. Flavors were different and elevated while keeping a “Mexican food” theme. Great cocktails too. Will definitely come back.

Visiting Scottsdale we stopped at The Mission. We had the tostados and the chicken tacos, both were good. Chris, our server was very personable and attentive. Check it out when in old Scottsdale, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing food, drinks and service. We had a larger group but would definitely go back with just a few friends. One of the best margaritas in the Valley.

One of the worst experiences ever. The food came out cold. Not warm or luke warm, but cold. The server seemed so accustomed to it that he did not react. It was 9:30pm at this point. Cold food in a real tourist trap. Stay away, looks like a nice place but make sure you go to a serious restaurant not one is taking tourists for granted and for a ride

Celebrating my ASU grad. Food and service were top notch! With our dessert the server brought a sparkler for the celebration. We had only mentioned why we were there once!

The food was delish and there are ALOT of options to chose from. The ambiance and service were outstanding and the cocktails were good and affordable in my opinion. I would definitely go again and recommend this for anyone looking for a good place in Old Town!
