Old Town Scottsdale’s heart beats to a Latin drum at The Mission where renowned Chef Matt Carter (Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox) brings a modern twist to Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America.

Sip a signature margarita with unique flavors such as cucumber jalepeno or aguacate (yes, we said avocado) as you watch your Tableside Guacamole made to your taste from more than a dozen fresh ingredients.

Home made tortillas, and salsas are made fresh daily to accompany an assortment of meats and seafood prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor. And save room for dessert including our pumpkin bread pudding or expresso churros.

                                                                        My husband and I recently visited from Texas, and our experience at Mission was truly remarkable. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm and inviting, and the sensory journey we embarked on was absolutely delightful. The food was not only delicious but also comforting, and we couldn't get enough of the tasty margaritas! One highlight was the fresh guacamole made right at our table – it was simply amazing! I'm already looking forward to returning to try their brunch this Saturday. I must also mention our fantastic server, Alphonso, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. Thank you, Mission, for providing such wonderful food and a heartfelt welcome. We'll definitely be back!

We were seated super close to other diners on both sides which really killed the atmosphere for us. My purse was bumped over and over & this was 8 pm seating. Again, food and service great, ambiance not so great.

                                                                        Everything about the experience was exceptional - from the welcome to the interactions with servers to the tailored guacamole made tableside to your preferences (recommended) and the tacos and street corn - would highly recommend a visit. We would definitely go again!

                                                                        We enjoyed a wonderful meal. Alex was our server and did a great job of keeping our food coming out at a good pace. We have been coming here for 5 years and the food is always consistent. Our only suggestion is to take the lighting up a notch. It’s really very dark.

                                                                        Amazing food, incredibly slow service. Reservation was for 8:45 and still didn’t have an entree by 10pm. I’ve been several times before and usually it’s much quicker.

                                                                        With one exception, we love every aspect (menu, food quality, service) of dining at the Mission. The one aspect that's negative is the noise level. The music is played too loudly which in turn forces guests to speak loudly creating an unpleasant cacophony. That's a real black mark on the dining experience.
