Modern Diner. Global Fare. Delicious Fun. This is The Mockingbird. Led by talented culinary duo executive chef / partner Brian Riggenbach and front-of-house extraordinaire / partner Mikey Corona, The Mockingbird offers a menu of comfort classics with a global twist and an ambiance of art deco diner whimsy. Walls are covered in beautiful custom-made wallpaper, painted tin tiles on the ceiling, windows open to two patios as weather allows and a larger-than-life mirrored bird sculpture overlooking the dining room. And then there’s the food and drink! Munch on a Mockingburger or Mac N Cheese (aka Feeling Grate!) while sipping an Old-Fashioned-ish or a Punchin’ Bag (ask about it – they are famous!). We also love hosting group events! We have a private dining room, an upstairs dining room and an enclosed patio, all perfect for bridal showers and bachelorette parties plus business lunches and corporate dinners. Y’all come see us! **Reservation cancelation policy is strictly enforced**

We came for the special Thanksgiving meal and were blown away by the food. This was the best Thanksgiving meal we have ever had. Every course was incredible and unique. The turkey was perfection. Most in the party don’t normally enjoy cranberry sauce but we asked for a second helping we all loved it so much! Even the dinner rolls were fantastic with two choices of seasoned butter. We will definitely be back to enjoy their regular menu.

Wow! We went to the Mockingbird for Thanksgiving! This gave us many more things to be thankful for. Our server was a joy. He was friendly, engaging and attentive. The food was de-liscious! Pumpkin soup, kale salad with butternut squash and candied pecans to start. The turkey dinner was huge! With traditional sides of mashed potatoes, stuffing and green beans. We took a lot home. Of course. We left a little room for cake. The dining area reminded us of a 1940s style with music to match that vibe. We look forward to going back to try their regular menu. Ideally, summertime on the deck!

This was our second time at The Mockingbird and once again we were not disappointed. Food was great and creative. Nice Thanksgiving. The parking discount sticker that they gave us did not work and we were charged fun amount in the garage.

This restaurant never disappoints, but Thanksgiving dinner was in a stratosphere of its own! First of all the owner Mikey greets you at the door with a happy upbeat Thanksgiving greeting. The ambience is a calm environment and the staff is all very pleasant and willing to accommodate all requests. The food combinations were amazing. The stuffing, the green beans, the turkey and homemade cranberry sauce was unbelievable. Highly recommend the Mockingbird! It’s wonderful.

Our server never came back once we ordered. Had to ask other servers for things. The breakfast came out cold and the potatoes tasted reheated and dried out. The breakfast stir fry was good. Don’t think I’d recommend.

We enjoyed an outstanding dining experience at The Mockingbird. Our server provided much helpful information about the establishment and menu. The menu was eclectic and interesting. The shortribs with fried rice and brussel sprouts were delicious. My companions enjoyed the schnitzel and flank steak entrees. An exceptional dining experience!

Food is the definition of mid. Celery root n the mini grilled chz were off the chain Pork belly was decent but it’s hard to mess up small pieces that you fry The baller was worth the price Burger was absolutely not best in the city… bacon was good but hugh babies n shake shack embarrass this burger n neither claim the title Jerk wings are insulting… chicken cooked correctly but you lost your damn mind to call them jerk wings Also stop selling pasta you do not know how to cook, prepare or serve it… Service was great truly outstanding n saved the food My advice to the chef would be to always continue to learn and grow. Your claim to fame should not be from 15 years ago.
