   We sat in the outdoor section in the far corner. They were training someone so they came over to that area to talk ( i believe there was a station over there with a computer) which became a distraction for us trying to have a nice quiet dinner together. Otherwise it was good...

   Accommodating staff. Nice decor. Would love to come back in warm weather and sit outside. Loved the spinach salad with salmon addition.

   Repeat customers. My wife and I have returned to Newport several times over the years since I graduated from the naval War College in 2004 and have enjoyed a great meal at The Mooring each time. Yesterday was no exception. Great food in a comfy, nautical environment and our server Jessica W. was exceptional. We will be back!

   An unforgettable anniversary dinner! The staff was warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make our night special. Delicious food, perfect ambiance, and outstanding service. Special thanks from my heart! Highly recommend!

   It was an excellent atmosphere to enjoy a meal and food were great. If there is a small basket to put small bags under the table, it would be more convenient. Overall, my wife and I had a good time to have nice dinner.

   My Wife and I dined at the Mooring on a Saturday evening and it was great. We were in Newport for a marriage retreat and I wanted us to have a date night at a place we haven't tried yet. The food and service were top notch. I had the branzino (whole fish) and my Wife had the seafood pasta. For appetizers we had clam chowder and oysters Rockefeller and also had to cocktails. Everything was so delicious. Our server was so pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back!

    The food and service are just incredible; by Newport standards, not outrageously expensive but the quality is amazing.
