About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighbourhood gem
  • Charming
Musket Room is a celebrated neighborhood restaurant offering a reliably indulgent experience, whether for a special occasion or enjoying dinner with friends. Since 2013, the Michelin- starred establishment has been committed to the kind of caring, personalized service that makes regulars feel like family and newcomers feel like regulars.

Chef Mary Attea leads a culinary team that draws on their heritages, world travels and personal inclinations to create vivid flavors and inventive dishes that deftly cross borders and defy categorization. The result is transporting food in a warm, refined space with a long bar, intimate nooks and a spacious garden for dining al fresco.

Our Omnivore and Vegan tasting menus are available nightly, with additional a la carte offerings availble nightly at the bar and weekdays in the dining room.

Service left a bit to be desired. Time between courses a bit too long and not uniform.

I had not been back to The Musket Room in some time, but I am very glad I returned. It was as outstanding as I remembered: Great food, served at a good pace, and the wine pairings are very unique, interesting, and well-described. It is a tremendous value for the price, and deserves its high ratings.

A nice evening but poor service from the sommelier. You should expect more when you choose the wine paring. Plain wines, nothing exciting and poor judgement for the paring menu. The food was good but not a star restaurant worthy. Missing a lot to be a one star Michelin restaurant. Out of 6 plates two was out of the ordinary. Our runner was the highlight of the evening, since the rett of the staff was more interested in talking about private affairs and missing the most important persons in the room, the guests…. Hope you step up for our next visit.

Compared to earlier visits, the tasting menu is shorter but also excellent value. In hindsight, it would have been advisable to add 1-2 optional courses as it turned out that the tasting menu was on the light side (e.g., it listed the amuse bouche as the first course - we erroneously assumed that this would be a surprise extra course). Some dishes were standouts, every dish was a solid performance. The non-alcoholic drink options were great - it's too bad they don't offer a non-alcoholic beverage pairing. Service was rather curt (e.g., we were abruptly given the bill without even asking if we wanted a coffee - it felt like they wanted to get rid of us! - Even if they had needed the table, they could at least have told us or offered us to take a coffee at the bar. As a matter of fact, we did order espresso and didn't have the impression that we deprived anyone of timely access to our table).

The food and service were both wonderful. The pacing was done very well, and the menu had a diverse array of tasting options. We added the jamon iberico, which was well worth it.

From an elegant touch to noise level - the room would benefit from white table cloths.

Food and service was excellent. It was maybe a little dark so we couldn’t see the food very well which meant we enjoyed the experience a little less than we might have. The hard surfaces everywhere meant that it was very noisy even though the tables are well spaced, so we were not always able to hear the servers explanation of the dishes.

We had a nice dinner with solid food and great wine. However the waiter somehow decided he would talk down to us the entire meal. Not sure why he thinks he is better then us but the servers and bus guys were amazing and polite. they should give the wait staff danny meyers book setting the table because when you spends hundreds of dollars it sucks to be talked down to. I wish them luck I will not be back.
