Outstanding meal- everything was utterly delicious. We had the crab and raviolo to start and the pork and salmon dishes for main- I would order all again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them all! Service was also unobtrusive but attentive - a perfect balance. My only slight let down was the ‘elevator’ background music, which dimmed the atmosphere somewhat. I am to return however as the food was sublime and would like to try the other dishes.

Quality of food was first class and good degree of originality or twists to traditional dishes. Waitresses were friendly and smiley and courteous. Prices were slightly high - Sunday lunch could benefit from a set menu option. Highly recommended.

Second time dining at The Nest and did not disappoint. The food, ambience and service all outstanding. Took our friends and they loved it too

New Year’s Day visit to the Feathers, our first visit and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel has recently been refurbished, lovely bright reception with a roaring log fire - very welcome after a chilly walk around the town. Our lunch was delicious and service attentive. Full of flavour and well presented. There were only three other tables in, as we’d booked for 2pm so it was quite quiet but would imagine when full it would have a great vibe. A real treat, will definitely return.

Another fabulous lunch at the Feathers. Food has been consistently excellent since opening and the team of staff are just fantastic. Looking forward to our next meal there.
