Join us for the very best of modern British dining looking out over Cheltenham's newest, iconic and timeless vista.

The Nook On Five uses produce from the best butchers, fishmongers, grocers, creameries, distilleries and vineyards to create dishes and experiences both fun and fine.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, take in mouth-watering bites overlooking the Cotswolds and the rooftops of Montpellier.

Headed up by Alisha Phillpotts, the kitchen carefully selects the finest produce to cook up a refined evening à la carte menu, alongside a fab lunch and all day menu of modern British classics and twists.

The bar and cellar offers an extensive English section to our wine list and serve up some fantastic cocktails which you can take out to our rooftop terrace.

Enjoy afternoon tea with us at the Nook. We freshly prepare our cakes, scones and sandwiches every day. We tend to always have a Macaron, a chocolate and a sponge. Allergies & Dietaries- Please let us know of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance of your booking. Because we make everything fresh we need to make tailored products in advance. If we do not get this in advance, accommodating your requirements could take up to 1 hour from the time you arrive as we will be baking those cakes fresh for you on the day.
Private Dining Room - Chef's Table Experience

Enjoy the ultimate Chef's Table experience with a 7 course Tasting Menu including wine pairing and interactions with our chefs about each course. Your group will be completely private from the restaurant so you can enjoy exclusive dining in our Private Dining Room with a recommended maximum of 10 guests. £1000 minimum spend required at the point of booking. We require at least 1 week's notice period. OpenTable does not enable us to monitor this. Therefore, if you are booking within this timeframe your booking may be cancelled and your £1000 deposit will be returned to you. WOW - what fabulous meals we all had. The service was amazing and the staff friendly, smiling and attentive. Will recommend The Nook on 5 to anyone who wants to know. We will be back.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times and for me it is the best place in Cheltenham so far. Every time I try different dishes they are wonderful, my last visit to the restaurant was on January 7th and I was a little disappointed, the location is wonderful, the staff are professionally trained, the interior is laconic, but my dishes did not bring me pleasure this time! The shrimp cocktail salad had wilted greens, they changed it for me but the second option was not better (the lettuce legs had a reddish tint, which indicates that the salad has been stored for 3-5 days already) this is not acceptable in a restaurant of this level. The second course was beef cheeks with mashed potatoes. The degree of roasting of the meat corresponded to the order and the texture was tender, but the bitter taste of the fried crust on top prevented me from enjoying the meat (it seemed to me that the upper part of the meat was overcooked). And so the last visit to the restaurant did not bring me pleasure from the food, but we had fun and we had a good time!

Exceptional location, with amazing ambience. Table pre booked for Drinks only, my family and I so enjoyed this! It was a real treat. A Professional and Friendly team that were most accommodating. I will be back to Eat - I have fallen in love with ' The Nook on Five'! This is a must for any peron/family that need a treat and a reminder that we all need a little luxury from time to time! An amazing experience with such accommodating staff! The food was absolutely incredible and we are planning to go again in a few weeks!! You need to go.

Really enjoyed the New Year`s Eve celebration. Warm welcome, although not quite as smooth as usual. The live band was excellent & played great music which added to the atmosphere although it would have been nice if they had played up until nearer midnight rather than the DJ as counting down to midnight was almost forgotten until the last minute ! Overall a great evening, with great food & atmosphere. Would repeat.

My daughter and I visited The Nook for Christmas lunch. This being our first experience of Christmas lunch in a restaurant we weren't sure what to expect but were extremely pleased with the quality of ingredients and the dishes. We would definitely repeat the experience.
