Why The North Coal? The concept was created by the feeling of being away from city life with family and friends. For us, that’s Northern Ontario, but as lucky as we are to experience that way of life, not everyone is. Our mission is to provide that feeling regardless of your surroundings.

    Great place, excellent vibe, great people…..bit noisy but the party behind us had a bunch of small children they let run around, but that is just parents not being parents! Food was great, portions a bit small, but was very good.

    I had the Baffin Burger. It was served hot & juicy with amazing flavors. One of the best burgers I've ever had while eating out.

    Great warm and cottagey vibe. If they could add a propane fireplace and drop the tv fireplaces that would feel better

    food and ambience was good. but it took awhile before our sever came to ask us for our orders, actually i had to get her attention before she could have came to serve us, other than that everything was great from food drinks and ambience.

    Visited Tuesday, November 26 evening . Amazing food, especially the whipped ricotta and brussels sprouts. Great service, best I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back and bring friends.
