experience for all your senses. Lake Chatuge and the Blue Ridge Mountains serve as a tranquil backdrop that is

The Oaks Lakeside Kitchen is celebration of the diverse and substantial traditions of American cooking.

Our elevated menus are approachable and not pretentious, dramatically presented and artfully plated, featuring
Smoked Fish Dip, Braised Pork Belly and Apples, Bourbon Braised Short Ribs, Southern River Farms Filet, Skillet
Seared Salmon, and of course, mouth-watering filet.

The Oaks Lakeside Kitchen also has an extensive selection of hand-crafted cocktails, craft beer, and an American

Once again our dinner at The Oaks was superb. Everything about it made our Independence Day celebration wonderful. We dined on the patio and then watched the fireworks.

Lovely lakeside setting with good food prepared with attention to detail although dining room can get noisy during busy hours. Our server was great and the coordination among runners, hostess and servers was excellent. Recommend!

The Oaks Lakeside Kitchen was a wonderful experience. The hostess was welcoming and our waiter John was very nice. Our food was delicious and the appetizer a pleasant surprise from the chef. Our cocktails were excellent. The restaurant decor is very pretty and the setting on the lake made our evening special.

When we arrived there had just been a storm that momentarily knocked out power and internet services. The folks at the front of the house did a great job of communicating and working with us to make sure we were taken care of throughout the night. The food was excellent and every part of the dishes we had seemed to be homemade. The sauces, the pickles, and every aspect of each dish was great. The filet was one of the best cuts of beef I’ve ever had and was excellent. The apps were great and the Pecan Blondie was superb. Our server was Caden and he was awesome as well. The whole experience was great. It started out on the rocks but I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

The Oaks is one of our favorite places! We live locally and are always happy to bring our guests to dine there. The food is always delicious and we love the atmosphere, and the service is great. We have reservations for this Tuesday and we are looking forward to being there again!

Beautiful setting, outstanding food, excellent service and very well stocked bar. We all had the filet. We all agreed that their filet was equal to or better than Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa. We have dined here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed with our meal or the service.

Don’t miss this amazing restaurant! We celebrated our 44th anniversary at The Oaks and it was perfect. Beautiful views of the lake and the food is equally amazing! From the Brussels sprouts appetizer, Wedge salad, Filet, Salmon…everything was perfectly delicious. In addition, Gray is a fantastic server! Extremely attentive to our needs and friendly. He described the various dishes in great depth and our mouths were watering at each new detail. Would highly recommend The Oaks Lakeside Kitchen and request Gray as your server.
