A very tasty Goan curry! Nice ambience - relaxed and chatty - all tables booked.

Service quite poor, servers didn’t seem organised & were not efficient, I asked for a wine list, it took ages to arrive then looked like they’d got it out of the bin- very stained & crumpled. Food took a long time to arrive, when it did my peas were cold & hard & tartare sauce had a skin on it!

I had the scallops today off the specials board. Perfectly cooked with a wonderful sauce and chorizo. Wonderful! Yesterday was the trout marinated in lemon juice and stuff. Yum Yum too. The food here is stunning and the staff are so good. Thanks folks.

Valentine's evening wasn't busy at the Olive Tree. We were given a table in the bar area where there was a group who got noisier through the evening and I had to ask them to mind their language..... for which they apologised. The food quality was great but there were minimal vegetables and the requested side salad didn't come. The website could do with some improvement as its not very user friendly. Staff very friendly and we'd go again but next time would ask to go in the restaurant, which we didn't know about until part way through the evening.
