    Always a warm welcome, great food and nice atmosphere We regularly meet for a dog walk followed by lunch at the Olive Tree. A real gem

    Went for Christmas lunch but was informed that we should have pre booked. Was not advised this when I enquired if it was possible to mix menus.( by phone,yes), I then made booking on line On arrival, waitress was pleasant and attentive. Given option to be seated in bar area or dining room. Opted for bar area as dining room empty. Unfortunately food took a very long time to come. Had to ask if our order had been forgotten. Food was tasty when it did arrive. Very cold in the bar where we ate but did move to log burner for coffee, which was pleasant. Did not feel very Christmassy, lacked atmosphere, which was disappointing.

    As usual, the Olive Tree is the best pub in the area. The staff are wonderful as is the food. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

    We were moved to restaurant from bar table because it was a bit noisy.Which was good.Sunday roast was excellent.

    I took my Dad and my brother for a meal and to watch the singer. The food and service were excellent, as was the singer. Thank you

    This is just a lovely local pub/eatery. Never had a bad experience here. Woofers welcomed in the bar area. Great food,well kept bar.

    It was very busy and unfortunately limited staff. The food was very good and we didn't mind the wait but when we finished it we waited about 20 minutes for the plates to be taken. We decided to have coffee and I asked what a macchiato (it's on the menu) as I had never heard of it and the waitress hadn't either. I settled for an amercano, my wife decided to have a liqueur coffee and asked for an Irish coffee, once again the waitress didn't know what that was. She went away and came back to ask what was in one. So my wife told her, it's coffee with whiskey and topped with cream.

    Went to The Olive Tree for our Wedding Anniversary dinner. Absolutely fantastic. The food was amazingly good and the service delightful. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

    Parking was straightforward. Service was professional and charming. good range of food on offer. Food was served without too long a wait and seemed fresh. Nice salad served with my sandwich. comfortable seating.

    Excellent meal, as always, but particularly good today! Beef medium rare and so tender! This is one of our three go-to Sunday lunch eateries.
