    Amazing brunch at the Oxley. It’s a great place at all times of the day. A cosy afternoon was had in the Snug upstairs, this time around.

    I have passed by the Oxley for years and never knew what a gem it was. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is exceptional, and the service is wonderful. The menu was perfect size, it had enough choice but not so much that it was overwhelming. Everything on the menu was familiar but with a great twist. I had the duck breast, it was perfectly cooked and the accompaniments were wonderful All in all I had a great meal. This was my first time there, I will be back.

    Really good food and hospitality. Extremely well kept cask ales. Very good value for money as long as you stay away from the overpriced wines by the glass. Also be prepared for a lot of noise but overall a very friendly and energetic atmosphere.

    Our reservation was not ready upon arrival and we were told to wait 15+ minutes. When shown to a table, the space was overwhelmingly loud so we chose to leave and go somewhere else nearby.
