   Such a treat, we were served by Sam all night who was delightful helping us with our food and drink choices and telling us about the local area. Music was familiar and easy on the ear. The food was tremendous, we shared the Camembert which was great and perfect for two. I had the vegan option for my main which was outstanding my husband had haggis which he loved and said would have again, high praise! Made the mistake of having a pudding each and sharing, best sticky toffee pudding ever and the apply crumble was perfect. Went home absolutely stuffed! Would highly recommend x

   Lovely cosy pub with great food. Hannah our waitress did really well and the food was very nice and good value.

   Great service great food and atmosphere open fire cosy night staff very attentive good choices of food locals very friendly I'm disabled and right away people stood up offering their seats however we were in the restaurant end 😀

   It was Burns night, we didn’t realise but had a fabulous time and the food/haggis was just great. Would definitely recommend

   Lovely warm, dog friendly pub, great menu and interesting vegetarian options. Food was gorgeous and service great, we’ll definitely be back.

   The bar area was cosy with a fire. Beer was excellent. The eating area was rather stark - a cupboard door behind us left open, candle on the table but not lit. But the waitress was lovely (except for not noticing the above). And the food was delicious.

   We had a fab experience dining here on our way travelling down from Orkney. We had such a lovely meal, and it was so handy to be able to bring in our dog. The pub was super cosy, we loved sitting by the fire (Peggy the greyhound loved this too!) The food was so delicious and seasonal. The smoked duck was my favourite! The staff was so attentive and friendly and made the whole experience delightful.
