Reservations open on the 1st of each month for the following month, for groups up to 6 guests. Bookings for May open on the 1st April at 10am. For larger groups please email bookings@theparakeetpub.com. We serve our A la Carte menu Monday to Saturday, and Roasts on Sundays.

From when we first walked in I loved the atmosphere. The lighting, ambience , decor made us feel wow we are in for a good night. The service was outstanding, we didn’t know but all cocktails were £5 so that kicked the night off on the right foot. The hostess was very friendly and basically gave us options of where we would like to sit…. Within 15 mins every table was full. You could hear the music but it wasn’t loud…. The Stranglers looking at the Peaches was playing which I thought was a great choice. It was my wife’s birthday so the free glass of bubbles was a lovely touch. There were plenty of staff and you could see the management team leading from the front. Our server was Stella, she was amazing, really knowledgeable and we had a great laugh with her too! The food and wine was outstanding …. We had some nibbles, Potato bread !!! Amazing but be warned filling, we took some home, we had the famous leek starter, side of potatoes, cabbage etc with the Sea Bream to share…. All fab. Just about squeezed in the Bakewell tart to share. We go out to eat quite often and I’m very rarely so happy with every single part of the experience. These guys mean business, the staff are extremely well trained and seem to really enjoy their jobs. I now completely understand why it’s taken me several months to get a table! Thankyou so much. I will be recommending The Parakeet to whoever listens to me !!!

I had high expectations for this Sunday roast, especially since it was featured on Time Out’s "Best Roast" list and had so many great reviews. However, I was really surprised by how disappointing the experience was. We ordered the sharing sirloin but it was chewy and tough apart from one slice in the very middle. The potatoes were far too crispy—almost impossible to eat—feeling like they had been left out for ages and reheated. They also had no seasoning which made them very bland. No gravy was provided (which is essential for a proper roast) and the plates were cold which didn’t help the overall experience. We also ordered the cauliflower cheese as an extra for £6 but it was really bland and lacked cheese, a big disappointment given the price. On the positive side, the service was excellent. The staff were very apologetic about our experience. They did their best to make up for it which we really appreciated. However, given the restaurant’s reputation and the price I expected much better. I’m not sure if we caught them on a bad day but based on this experience I wouldn’t rush back.

Superb experience. Absolutely banging Sunday lunch. Service wasn't super speedy but it was very busy so fair enough. All the staff were extremely nice though and made it such a lovely afternoon. Top drawer.

We had a wonderful experience. We saw this on TikTok. And thought we would try it. The Sunday roast was really good. The service was amazing. Would definitely go back. 6 out of 5 stars. Our server was Ihsan he did an amazing job.

Impeccable service, delicious food and beautiful environment. I'm glad we finally got to try the Parakeet and we'll be back for sure.

Love this pub… considering I’m not a usual fan of pubs for dining… it’s a great one. Always busy… good vibes. Reasonable cocktails, great food with seasonal produce. Sunday roasts are amazing too. The steak is delicious… and the bread with whipped butter I get every time. Service is always good… my fourth visit and I’m still returning :)
