Light and spacious thanks to soaring ceilings and huge original windows, The Park Restaurant has a bustling brasserie atmosphere, combined with just a touch of classical cosiness. Enjoy a leisurely cocktail on one of the bar’s comfortable settees before moving in to the dining room where you’re invited to sample an array of dishes from the light snacks served throughout the day and evening to the more substantial a la carte dishes available during lunch and dinner. We have a confirmed reservation for 12.30 today for lunch and arrived ti be told they were fully booked and were turned away.

I took my wife and children for lunch on mothers day. It started really well with a warm welcome and what seemed like a nice atmosphere. Service also started with a smile but it really did go wrong after that. The service was rushed a quite frankly the food was awful. Starters were very poor and quite bland, my wife's roast dinner tasted microwaved with poor quality meat. My food was ok but not generous in portion size. My son received a cheese burger with in a brown roll...we were told bit was a healthy option and the other kids meal looked microwaved. We had the bill put on our table before we were even asked for dessert not that we would have eaten it. The pleasure of this awful experience cost £75 for lunch 2 adults and 2 children all in with one alcoholic drink. Overpriced is an understatement. The restaurant was not even half full so struggle with how it was so poor overall. Nandos less than 5 mins away would have been half the price and better in every way. That says it all.

Very quiet and a bit forlorn when we visited, although the service was friendly and food was good.

There was only one waitress on a Friday night. She was struggling to get the service right and we had to sit with wine menus for about 10 minutes before the food menus were brought. There were delays with food and the bill and our order was wrong a few times. The barman did not know what Macchiato was and kept asking whether it was Mocha Latte. The room is beautiful and spacious and I would be happy to return if I was sure the service improved! The food was ok, nothing spcial but nothing wrong with it either.

Being in the heart of Teddington, the restaurant gives you the feel of a country hotel. Good food, friendly server and large space done up in Christmas cheer met expectations.

On first impression, The Park looks like a pleasant bar/restaurant, and, the high ceilings and pleasant decor suggest a good restaurant experience awaits. The service is friendly, if a little haphazard, while the menu offers decent value, catering more for its hotel clients, perhaps, rather than as a restaurant in its own right. The bruschetta and smoked salmon were both pleasant, although we had to ask for some bread to go with the salmon. After asking twice, we were brought a plate of butter! Eventually we got the bread, although, most of the salmon had been eaten. Main courses of chicken pasta and a vegetarian option were both pleasant, and good sized portions. There are better options in Teddington, but The Park does a job.

This outing was supposed to be a treat prior to going to the Gala evening at the Hampton Court Flower show. The food in no way lived up to the write up and caused me quite a lot of embarresment as my quest were paying for this portion of the outing!

The restaurant was three quarters empty yet the service was slow and the food poor. Never again.

The food was mediocre and the service was poor. We were kept waiting both at the bar and at the table despite being only about five people in the place. Would not return.
