Our lovely open-plan restaurant has traditional oak-beams and contemporary furnishings with a harmonious and relaxing ambience. The perfect setting for you to enjoy a romantic dinner, family celebration or night out with friends.
Our Head Chef and his brigade are passionate about food. Every dish on the frequently changing menu is freshly prepared from the finest ingredients – locally sourced wherever possible.
Norfolk is rich in great produce and our kitchen’s philosophy is based on seasonality, provenance and flavour. Game, fish, meat and vegetables are chosen with care daily. We have a close relationship with the finest suppliers in the county and they know that we insist on buying the best. We don’t do run-of-the-mill at The Parson but we do believe in offering great food cooked with passion and flair.

We had a lovely meal and the food was great however the menu may need to be updated to confirm exactly what dishes are gluten free adaptable. We travelled quite a way and chose the pub for the amount of dishes that could be made gluten free, however when chosen we were told that they couldn’t. This happened with around three dishes. Nevertheless we had an enjoyable evening!

This was our first visit to the Parson Woodford and we had an enjoyable time and a great meal. Every main course on the menu was appealing so we will have to go back to try others. The food was delicious and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10!

Overall it was a tasty meal. Portions were big and therefore for me personally I didn’t need a starter but could have shared one. The staff were all very pleasant despite being busy. We did however request the dessert menu but it failed to arrive and when the table of 4 beside us were given the dessert menu we asked again. But alas it never materialised so we decided not to bother. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the game pie.

Very friendly staff, made to feel welcome and provided good service all evening. Good and varied selection available on the menu. Nice atmosphere and well maintained facilities.

Lovely Sunday lunch at the Parson Woodforde... although it was very busy, we were greeted straight away and shown to our table, within a couple of minutes of being seated we were offered drinks. Menus were already on the table. Once we had chosen our meals (lots of choice whereas many restaurants offer roasts only), the food was served quickly and was hot and plenty of it. The staff were all cheerful and kept popping back to see if all was well, and whether we needed anything else. A friendly place to enjoy a really nice meal, we'll definitely be be back :)

Warm welcome, drink order taken swiftly, followed by adequate time to take our food order. Very pleased with the meal we had. Some of the starters could be smaller and cheaper. A very good choice of food on the menu. Staff are great!

Bar area was busy with a good atmosphere, but we were seated in a large restaurant area & were the only people there. Staff were friendly and attentive. Despite a worryingly large menu, the food was tasty, well cooked and very well presented. We will definitely be back.
