   A real gem of a restaurant. Great food and choice on menu. Food was served up quickly and hot. The food presentation was beautifully executed. The staff were very courteous , friendly but not over bearing and nothing was too much trouble for them to do for us. At long last, a restaurant that really is a lovely restaurant and a joy to visit.

   We did not enjoy the food. Pork Belly Buns were bland with goop sauce, shishito peppers were very undercooked and puddled with flavorless oil, and kimchi balls had zero kimchi flavor or texture. Appetizers took 20 minutes to completely arrive. Overpriced cuisine for the experience we received.

   The food was good, polite staff, clean and relaxing environment. Went on a Wednesday specifically for their special, it was delicious. Portions are not large or small, just enough. If you can get dessert, you should!

   The Valentine’s Day pricing was typical price gouging. The plates were very hit or miss, but the ones that hit were very solid. All in all pretty good, but not worth the mark up for Valentine’s Day.

    Would try it again. I suspect it was just a busy night and kitchen was not on its game. We were there on a fixed price night fixed price (Valentines). About half the food was very good, most of it was good, but some of it was disappointing and one would expect better on a limited menu evening. For example, I don't recommend the rice or risotto, in which the scallops were a bit sparse. That said, the sirloin and potatoes were stellar, as were the "puffs" and beans. They ran out of some dessert sauces and had to skimp, so we had to wait and hold a table while they made it fresh. On the whole, interesting place, neat layout and decor, hardworking staff that maybe got shafted by their kitchen or bad planning by mgmt. I was a bit disappointed by the shortcomings because the place is always crowded, does take reservations, and we were among the first there for the evening. But again, worth a second chance given the care put into the place, and the feel and results may be better on non-rushed nights.
