The Peppermill is a 2AA Rosette award wining restaurant situated in The Peppermill Hotel in the centre of Devizes. We have a range of fresh fish, meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes on our menu which changes seasonally.

Our open kitchen is always a delight to many of our regular customers.

We also have a cocktail/wine bar offering an extensive range of drinks, including 100 different wines, 20 by the glass, a range of cocktails, 40 different Gins and draft beers.

Bottomless Brunch at The Peppermill £32.50 Every Saturday from 11am - 3pm. Two hour sitting in which the first 90 minutes the drinks are free flowing allowing the last 30 minutes to drink up. Selection of drinks include: Prosecco, Bloody Marys, Mimosa or bottled Peroni....for virgin brunch a range of soft drinks are available. Selection of food includes: Smoked Salmon & scrambled eggs on granary toast Eggs Benedict (Parma Ham) or Eggs Royale (Smoked Salmon) Avocado & poached eggs on homemade focaccia bread (V) 7oz Peppermill Beef Burger with French Fries Peppermill Chicken Burger with French Fries Halloumi Burger with French Fries (V)

We had booked a table for 8 o’clock and out of a choice of 4/5 daily options 2 were sold out and I was left with very little choice none of which suited The service was very slow and to get anyone’s attention you really needed a fog horn This is not normal for the Peppercorn so it was doubly disappointing

Outstandingly good meal - beautifully cooked sirloin steak, and my wife enjoyed her duck too. Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere, plenty of space between tables. A very good meal and experience.

It was quiet when we arrived but took a while to be served. The starters were delicious we had wood pigeon,but the mains were not. My burger was extremely salty and I couldn't eat all of it. My husband had pork and that was really bland. We didn't complain at the time because we weren't asked how our meals were. We left without trying desert. This was such a shame as our previous experience at The Peppermill was faultless.Our bill was £94. Also this was a birthday treat for my husbands 60th.

Starter and desert were lovely, cooked well and beautifully presented. Mains: burger looked like reheated meat that was left over from lunchtime. No moisture in it, bone dry and not pleasant to eat so left alone after 2 mouthfuls. Bacon to top burger was rock hard and inedible. Other main was fish and sauce (which was full of flavour) these were warm only, not hot. Very disappointing esp as we were the only ones in the restaurant so ‘chef’ hardly run off their feet.

Really lovely food and really nothing to complain about. When everything is just right, you don't remember the kind of things that you would not like about another restaurant.

This was one of the loveliest meals we’ve had in a long time. The menu was inventive and the flavours absolutely gorgeous. We really enjoyed watching the calm and organised kitchen work - everything looked incredibly seamless and non stressy.
