   We were very impressed with our meal at The Pigs. The menu was interesting and varied, and the food was excellent, tasty and attractively presented. The only small negative point was that the puddings weren’t hot, they were only just warm. The staff were very friendly, responsive and professional. We will definitely be back!

   The servers could barely speak. Their grasp of English, let alone the job in hand was, at best, weak. I hate to come across as curmudgeonly but this was a new low. The food was below average (dry pork, old bread) but this would have been mitigated by some sense of hospitality. I’m a local and will avoid. Sorry- it does pain me to leave a bad review but I think that any customer does deserve more; I realise that a customer’s question such as “should we order sides?” is a little difficult to answer but I expected that at least an outline of what sides were included with the mains we ordered would be forthcoming rather than “depends on how hungry you are” followed by a lobotomised death stare.

   Good quality food at the pigs value for money. Very friendly efficient staff happy to help at all times.

   Lovely food. Beautifully cooked and presented. Timely, polite service. Table great to keep the two dogs quiet in the corner.

   Four of us went for the Beef Sunday roast dinner, it was good but I expected more from the feedback others (friends and acquaintances) have said. The food was hot but another slice of beef would have made all the difference, lovely Yorkshire pudding, good and plentiful selection of vegetables but the ju / gravy although tasty was very thin, could have done with more body! The ‘all you can eat sweet bar, was on the whole good with a wide selection cold items, the bite size brownies being particularly tasty, but the hot selection needs replacing more frequently as it looked quite unappetising having dried out under the heat lamp and the custard drying and congealing around the jugs spout. The staff in the bar and waiting tables were great - friendly and attentive so well done to them.

   Absolutely love The Pigs for quality and ambience. The service was superb and the food a great treat. Having the Norfolk Passport saved us money too. Such a treat. Thankyou all.
