   The Plough has become our favourite restaurant since we moved to the area back in the summer of 2022. The food is amazing, and it’s so nice to see that they make a real effort to come up with very imaginative vegetarian and vegan dishes. Service is efficient and friendly, and dogs are always welcome, which is hugely important to us.

   Have been to The Plough before and once again was not disappointed. An early (18.30) Monday evening dinner for two and The Plough was surprisingly busy but service was prompt and friendly. An interesting and varied menu at reasonable prices, well presented and delicious.

   This pub has outstanding food. The atmosphere was buzzy but not noisy. We had bar snacks to start, followed by starters, the Rarebit was delicious, mains, my burger was amazing, and the dessert, dark chocolate ganache, was also fantastic. I would recommend this pub to anyone looking for good quality locally sourced food. Jake the general manager was friendly, attentive and knowledgable about everything on the menu, including the wine menu.

   Incredible meal and service. Great value. Honestly the best Sunday roast I have ever had, and I've Roasts at the coach, (1 michelin star), Dorchester, ect. Just fantastic! Must go check this place out!

    We had 2 very good meals at the Plough and would recommend it for any occasion. The staff are efficient and friendly without being in your face. The menu had something tasty for both of us and the wine list was good and interesting with some local English options. Would certainly go again
