   Friday lunchtime and first time visiting. Excellent food (we had three courses for a birthday treat - all great!) from a small but enticing menu. Service was literally perfect for us - attentive, friendly, and also fun - will definitely go back for that alone. Decor / ambience of the place is lovely too and thankfully easy enough to get to from Henley or Reading without a car if desired, although we did drive. Honestly overall I’d put it in the top three restaurant visits we’ve had in the last 15 years locally everything considered, and that’s got well established and respected names to compete with. I rarely leave reviews, but this place is oh so worth a visit, and I hope it keeps a regular crowd and new support to see it continue to flourish (selfishly so we can keep going!)

   Spectacular. The second time eating here and the food was sensational. The cocktails are brilliant. Fernando is one of the nicest people ever! Love this place and will be back many times.

   Visited here as I read about the award for roast dinners and it didn’t disappoint, we had the most succulent roast chicken breast with delicious roast potatoes and veg, asked for extra gravy as it was so good and the Yorkshire pudding was also large and delicious. Pudding choice wasn’t huge but what was delivered was yummy and beautifully presented.

   Always a very warm welcome from Fernando Superb food and very tasteful fully done refurbishment to a high standard We’ve become regulars now and highly recommend

   We went for a meal for my husbands birthday. The food was delicious. Everything was full of flavour and presented beautifully. The restaurant was very cosy and the staff friendly:

    This place is just gorgeous- if you want fabulous simple food cooked superbly, served by charming staff, in a wonderful cosy atmosphere - with the option of some devilish cocktails conjured up by the magical Fernando - this is where you need to go!
