We have been to The Post many times and this was, by far, the worst service we have ever received. Our waiter was cordial, but we ordered our drinks all at the same time (two draught beers, one wine and three mixed drinks). One drink came about 5 minutes later, then 4-5 minutes later two more came, then 5 or so minutes later, the last three drinks came, just when our food was getting to the table. This was all after waiting 15-20 minutes for someone to take our order. As usual, the fried chicken was great, the sides were just satisfactory (mashed potatoes were a bit on the luke-warm side, the green chili mac & cheese was underwhelming, but the fries were good, the deviled eggs were outstanding and the deep fried pickles were great). One of the salads was ordered with grilled chicken and it came out with fried chicken - we had waited so long, we really didn't want to complain, it might be another 20 minutes for the correct order to come out, so we ate it as delivered. At the end of the meal, the waiter came by three times to clear plates and bring pitchers of water (not asked for), but it took another 10 minutes for him to ask if we wanted anything else and bring us our check. All-in-all, a very disappointing experience because of the service, but the fried chicken will keep us coming back. Hoping the service will be better next time. If not, the chicken and deviled eggs may not be enough to bring us back.

Food was good as was service. There were definitely volume issues between the music and the game and the people talking... Seems like something needed turned down just a little bit because it was difficult to hear the person talking across the table.

Always awesome. Never disappoints. Definitely need a reservation these days. Will go back again, and again…..

We had a new server I guess. Didn’t get our deviled eggs, wasn’t checked on during dining, had to flag him down multiple times to get more drinks. Waited forever to get our check. As someone who comes every 2-3 months since opening, was a let down to have service like that

Quick lunch/app stop including Chicken Thighs, Brussels, biscuits and fries!! Wish there was a Post on the East side of the metro!! Quincy/E470 maybe 😏

Food was good but not great. The biscuits certainly went fresh and were dense and cheesy. Chicken was a bit overcooked. Mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were great.

Everyone loved their dishes. The chicken tenders, collard greens were wonderful. The noise level was too high. Not Post’s fault. Jut a very large table close to our table.

Super delicious chicken ... the chicken tenders and the half chicken! Wonderful collard greens and mashed potatoes. Good beer; we love the Top Rope. Seemed very pricey for what we got, even though we got a "game day" discount on the beers.
