The Potting Shed is a place to meet, eat, drink, relax and chat your day and night away – where hanging plants, terracotta pots and timber beams meet brass, brick and iron. Where you can plant yourself down on the swing seat, bench or at the bar and feel like you are on your family’s porch.

It’s a lively place where you can hoe into fresh, locally harvested produce, delivered by our shed-hands. The same hands that will deliver you good-natured banter, craft beers on tap, great tasting wines and unique cocktails.

The menu offers cozy share options for groups, three course substantial meal choices for those wanting to make an evening of it and a fun selection of nibbles for people wanting a light after-work snack with their cocktails or a share jug amongst friends.

Since I discovered The Potting Shed in 2019 I have been coming back to eat there as soon as I am in Sydney and I am never disappointed: the service, the atmosphere, the setting, the original cocktails not to mention the themed decorations. It's my favorite place !

It was a very nice and well decorated venue. I had the $36 burger when it arrived at the table it was obvious that the patty was left on the grill way too long and by the time it reached me it was dry and crumbly when cut.

Food was good, but service wasn’t. After waiting 15 minutes at our table we had to call a server over just to get water. Food arrived quickly as did the drinks once we were able to order. Very noisy and we were sitting near the bubble machine which was annoying. The teenagers we were dining with loved the swing seat and it was a good birthday treat. I had been wanting to go to Th e Grounds for a long time and was happy to see it, not sure I understand the hype and don’t need to go back.

Amazing place! Wonderful service and atmosphere. Mid food but amazing fries!!! Can you Mandy make either the chips bigger or the cheeseburger bigger for the kids cheeseburger. Not really filling. But please do continue this wonderful business

Can’t recommend highly enough. The staff when above and beyond to make my nieces birthday such a special one. We booked a late evening and pretty much had the Sugar plum display to ourselves. It was very special

Stunning place. Booked a “romantic experience “ it was a normal table in the most inconvenient location with a candle that wouldn’t stay on. Very overpriced. Average food and service was ok.

Fantastic as always, this visit was the best ever! I included a booking request for a quieter table due to a family member being hearing impaired and this was beautifully accommodated in a secluded nook, the staff were wonderful and provided friendly, fantastic service and the food and drinks were delicious and fresh and arrived so quickly. I even got to keep my cocktail glass when the special had sold out. Thanks so much, will be returning asap

Very good ambience, good vibe. Food was good but quantity needs to be bigger . Felt a bit hungry after eating. But still a good experience after all so will recommend.

Food was delicious and service great. Special mention to gorgeous guy who let us sit in Santa's cave and took a heap of photos for us all, lovely gesture. And the amazing guy who let us walk through the lane way, he was beautiful also.

First time at The Potting Shed. Absolutely beautiful, loved everything. Service was fast and great. Food was beautiful. My mother in law from Europe came to visit us so she was with us and she said it is amazing, she loved it.
