   Don’t really write these but feel a bit ripped off after such a cynical meal, the only good thing that kept us going was the cheap sparkling. Everything was over garnished and the entree seafood was covered in dill. The staff were very nervous to come over whenever I put my hand up for service probably because they were worried I was going to complain about something (when I just needed a damn knife to cut the tough steak). I felt quite sorry for the staff, they were over booked and many couples were left stranded in front of the restaurant waiting for tables that wouldn’t open up for a long while. Even though a reservation was compulsory and the $130 per person booking fee was non-refundable 24 hours from reservation time. The initial reason why I booked here was because the presentation and decor is beautiful - It looks good on social media, that seems to be the only thing that they’ve thought about. Seems quite shallow considering how little effort went into the food. I’m not usually a critic but considering how much they charged for this meal you can’t help but feel frustrated. Like going to an overpriced theme park but realising all the rides are the same boring ride just painted different colours. Overall, this ‘experience’ didn’t live up to the bill that had to be payed. I’m not an expert in running a restaurant but maybe they should get a new chef and pay them a lot more money than what they pay the current chef because somethings not working here. With every dish I felt more bored and apathetic so I stopped eating all together. Also, The people next to us had glass in their desert which one of them chewed and started bleeding. Only the one bleeding was refunded. Anyways I’m not a resentful person I do feel like this place has potential but maybe it’s just a bit tired ? Or maybe it’s just another big business that doesn’t care enough anymore. Someone’s screwed up here. This is how I felt.

   Foods are delicious. It is a little bit crowded and noisy. If you are seeking a place for gathering and enjoy your time with your friends and family, it is very good option.

   We were so excited to eat here. As we sat for about 25 mins waiting for someone to welcome/give us some water there was no staff on the floor. Then we were asked what to order she said it wouldn’t be enough, when in fact we were led to over order and over pay. Shame about the service, because it would be a great place to dine if we can get in and out.

   Took a client for lunch. In the past Potting Shed has been great. Today it was unfortunately not. Had the fish and Hash potato. The Hash potato did not taste fresh. The fish was good. The serving was meagre. Overall very dissapointed with PS today and most likely would not recommend. In fairness I have had good meals in the past. Has the ownership changed hands perhaps?

   Had a group booking for 4 girls for lunch and as soon as we all walked in, we are greeted with a smile and also the gorgeous greenery that surrounds us. The interior is full of florals and plants which adds to the atmosphere. We also had a swing chair to sit on with some cute cushions - cute touch. It's not our first time, some have dined here before, but it's still a cool place to visit. After lunch, we stroll through the laneway to see the pink floral set up that is The Chicest Mouse in Paris. Gorgeous! Then a coffee and cake at the cafe next store to top off our experience. It's always lovely to visit the Grounds of Alexandria!

    We went on the weekend. Booked our table. Drove and had no issues parking as usual parking for other businesses were available due to businesses being closed. Food was nice and we all enjoyed our meals. Service was pretty quick once we ordered things. A hot day so a little hot but lovely setting in The Potting Shed area. The laneway was super cute. Busyish but not horribly busy. Week days are quieter. I would go again and recommend a visit.
