After years of planning and work to restore the historical building that inspired the brewery, The Publican House restaurant and tap house is opening its doors to you! The 170-year old building has been reborn using original elements wherever possible, with a modern twist to create a unique and inviting space.

With a focus on local, we have incorporated a new spin to pub food featuring a wood fired pizza oven, high quality fresh ingredients and recommended beer pairing options with daily specials.

The bar features all of our Publican House beers, crafted on-site, along with new specialty brews developed monthly and available exclusively at The Publican House. Rounding out the menu will be locally produced craft beer, speciality cocktails and wine from around the world.

Always a great experience! Fantastic service and food unfortunately right beside the kitchen and the fan was loud.

The service was excellent! As well the food was very good too. My only complaint was we had their special... steak sandwich... and while it tasted great, if there was 2 oz of steak i would be surprised... at $24 i would have expected more.

We had booked a reservation online for dinner last night. We were placed up stairs in the front screen room separate from everyone. Ok spot, but not in the winter. It was very cold. I asked the waitress if there was any heat in there and she said no, and that I could order a hot coffee or beverage if I am cold. ?? I understand it is a busy time of year -Christmas but she should have asked if we wanted a different table. Our food took a very long time and the waitress ignored us the whole evening. I had also indicated that it was for a birthday dinner in the website and we weren’t even asked. I didn’t ask because we were so cold by the time we were finished. We eat at the Publican House a lot. We were very disappointed leaving there last night. Dec 14, 2024.

Great experience, Food was amazing served hot and in a timely manor for a Friday night, server was great, atmosphere was fantastic and noise level was really low
