Booked a table online for 2pm on Mothers Day, but despite having confirmation of this they had us down for 15:30. After finding us a table, it took 20 minutes to get a drink and then an hour and a half to get our starters! Appalling service, back chat when we complained and then lFirst they had mixed our bookings up, then the service was appalling

The food was OK. Nothing special but fairly tasty. The serice was truly awful. I tool my mother out for mothers day so I expected it to be busy. But we sat there for 2 hours and only had one course. Chased the waiters frequently and in the end gave up and asked to settle the bill minus dessert (which still showed no sign of arrival). Clearly that hadn't geared up for mothers day at all and I saw a lot of other unhappy pintersects as well. Shame as it's a lovely pub in an idyllic setting

Quaint location near the river chew, pedestrianised fronting and enclosed rear garden ideal for children & adults alike, nicely decorated and exuding village charm, very relaxing ambience, helpful and attentive staff, lovely food catering for fussy veggies and meat lovers equally well

We had Sunday lunch the food was great but queens very very busy waited 2hrs for lunch I think we were forgotten. Would definitely go again great buzz hopefully won't have to wait so long for food.

Staff were very accommodating and attentive. Wonderful food. Gorgeous little pub we travelled 20 mins to get there, well worth the drive!
