   FAB-U-LOUS! Seriously one of the best roasts we have ever had (and we’ve had a lot!!). We were all amazed by the quality of the food. Usually with roasts, the potatoes and Yorkshire pudding in particular always look and taste like they were made at 11AM and just kept warm all day - resulting in “chewy” or hard potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding that shatters into dust as soon as you cut into it. NOT HERE!! Everything tasted like it had just been made and the portion was perfect!! Not too many potatoes and a great variety of veg. We all LOVED the “cauliflower cheese” which was made of broccoli instead. AND PROPER GRAVY!! Honestly couldn’t fault it one bit. The girls and service was spot on as usual and the renovation works have completely transformed the place. If you’ve been here in the past and been sorely disappointed or know of the bad reputation this pub use to have, GO GO GO and try it for yourself - you will be amazed at how much it has changed!! We finally have a local pub which is out of the world!!

   Lovely food, lovely staff and even some Friday night live music. The new owners have worked very hard on updating the decor. It’s was a lovely evening.

   I have lived 2 minutes from the Queen’s Head for the last 6 years and I cannot believe the turn around it has recently had. It is incredible! We have been more times this month than we have done across the entire 6 years. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. All of the girls are extremely welcoming and accommodating and the food is fantastic. A great menu and executed very well. Incredible value for money. Have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner so have certainly tried all 3 menus. Highly recommend to anyone who has never visited and urge those who have been in the past to revisit. The new owners have done such a fantastic job. The decor has even had a makeover. I really hope they managed to make it work!

   Great atmosphere even better food! Hidden gem of a pub. We booked last minute after shopping at the outlet. And so glad we did Excellent service and nothing was too much trouble

   Great little local pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the home cooked food was very good. There were 6 of us dining and we all enjoyed our meal. They are in the middle of a makeover but as soon as it’s finished I’m sure the surroundings will be even better. They had a lovely Christmas tree up.

   Not recommended if you want a quiet table for two in the cosy surroundings. Not really spoilt for choices when it comes to food and wine Staff friendly enough.

    Myself and 4 friends came for a meal it was our first visit , the food was beautiful and the staff were very friendly , will definitely be coming back thank you xx
