The Quimby was special. Celebrated a birthday ad the staff was very accommodating. There was coloring available for my toddler and the drinks were delicious. The food was fantastic - everything was delicious, even after heating up at home!

Excellent waiter, very attentive and professional. Beautiful bottle presentation! Pork loin was a little dry, and was supposed to be served with applesauce, which it wasn’t. However, it was beautifully plated. The soup was a coconut Thai cauliflower and was delicious and a generous portion. The nicely appointed restaurant wasn’t too noisy and it was easy to talk at a normal level across the table.

We dined on New Year’s Eve last, the night before flying out of JFK. Usually hotel fare is so-so but we were delighted with our meal. I had made a reservation because of NYE and I’m glad I did. They were slammed with guests and they permitted us to sit in an area that was actually closed off. Had we not been expected I doubt they would’ve taken us at that time. We did the special 3 course meal which was excellent. The service was lovely and we walked away very satisfied.

Entering the bar area, it was very noisy and crowded. The dining is large and was not busy. The waitstaff and servers were not polished to put it politely and seemed to not know what they were doing. The food was ok/average and somewhat overpriced, but it was an airport hotel so expected. Overall it is very conveniently located just a 30 second walk from the Residence Inn, and there did not appear to be any other options aside from ordering food in.

Delicious food. I had the mushroom ravioli. Warm bread and soft salted butter.

The best option for dining at a JFK airport hotel. Surprisingly good food, and very pleasant bar staff to offset the (inevitably) high prices.

Calamari had way too much breading and overcooked. Salad was good but, hard to mess up a salad. Burger was average, nothing special for $22. Overall a decent meal but, nothing to rave about being in such a nice hotel and beautiful surroundings.

I had the House Salad with Grilled Shrimp. The meal was as good as it always is. But I the $12 upcharge for the shrimp is steep considering there were three of them (If I am remembering the upcharge correctly. I called The Quimby to inquire about the price for the purpose of this review. I waited a day. My call was not returned.)! I would have gotten more bang for my buck by ordering salmon or chicken. As she has been in the past, Aliyah took good care of me, checking up on me from when she had a moment. Of all the restaurants I frequent on a regular basis, she is my favorite server.
