The Rabbits is a family friendly gastro pub & restaurant in the heart of the essex countryside. We pride ourselves on good friendly service and good quality homecooked food with our seasonal menus, we serve real ales, fine wines & premium spirits. We have a great beer garden where you can take in the picturesque views whilst not having to go too far to order any food or drink as this can all be done at our garden bar which is also playing background music around our garden, this is open Thurs-Sunday throughout the spring/summer weather permitting. There is a childrens play area and we also welcome dogs in our garden and inside the bar area. The Rabbits Team look forward to seeing you soon.

The roast at The Rabbits is the best and is very good value for money. Highly recommend to everyone. You must also try the sharing roast platter.

Really warm welcome. Thoughtful about choice of table. Really attentive and friendly service. Excellent food really well cooked. Good wine choice. Roaring wood fire. Great Sunday lunch and super fish and chips. Couldn't have asked for more, highly recommend.

Simply amazing, delicious food for a affordable price, amazing hosting, great atmosphere with the fireplace.. Couldn't fault it! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Sunday lunch my daughter and I like to go for Sunday lunch twice a month and have been looking around for good Sunday lunch restaurants and I saw a recommendation for this little pub about a 30 min drive away and we went this Sunday and it was truly amazing we had an excellent choice of starters bbq pork belly bites, amazing and a yummy butternut squash soup both of which were lovely and really filling, only downside was then we couldn’t eat all of our sharing board as we were too full. The Sharing board was amazing, we have eaten a large variety of Sunday lunches over the last 6 months finding new places for each visit in both central London and Havering and the surrounding areas including well known restaurants such as Blacklock and Hawksmore and I have to say this is by far the best Sharing Board I have ever eaten all the trimmings and a really unctuous gravy, truly lovely traditional Sunday lunch with a real family vibe to the Pub. Well worth a visit

Good quality pub food served with a smile that will not break the bank. Nice pub to meet old friends for a catch up, easy to park , relaxed atmosphere, and no pressure to have to vacate the table. It’s a regular for us because of all of the above.
