   Perfect service from start to finish! Food was amazing, arrived in a timely manner and staff were approachable and attentive. We will definitely be back.

   We had the most delicious meal on Tuesday 28th January - the food and service were excellent - would definitely recommend and will go back as soon as we can !

   Incredible food and exceptional service. It was warm and cosy with a comforting atmosphere. We would go back time and time again.

   Good overall service, but food took a long time to come out. They also forgot one of our desserts, so we had to eat separately. We were cold, it was very draughty and no option to move as it was so busy.

   Lovely Sunday roast. Excellent service. What a lovely place to go to eat. Only reservation was the desserts which were nice but not exceptional.

   I think they forgot about us as it took an hr for us to receive 2 roasts, the waitress was attentive and very nice but no discount or complimentary drink or comp was offered, The roast was very over priced for what was given, 1/2 large carrot and parsnip, a smattering of red cabbage, 3 small roast potatoes, the meat and a yorkshire. The meat was the best bit but was all well done which is not how sirloin should be cooked, but thats just personal preference. Go to the Tiger Inn next time, for £3 more I can get belly of pork and sirloin and a lot more veg and its better cooked too, and service is fast Was trying to stay local but shows me next time I will stick to what I know best.

   This was our second time visiting. We loved this pub, the food is excellent and interesting. Stand out meals the scotch egg, the mushroom starter and the Filipino tart Devine! The waitress who was there again last night ( sorry forget her name) is lovely, she knows the menu and is efficient but not invasive. Such a lovely lady. Well done we will definitely be back!
