The Rail Trail Flatbread Co., celebrated its grand opening on 12/12/23, marking not only a milestone in Milford's downtown revitalization but also a nod to the original Hudson location's success. Built in a meticulously renovated former bank that features a spacious restaurant and bar, outdoor patio, and upstairs events space, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The Milford location reflects a two-and-a-half-year renovation effort, preserving historical elements like the century-old clock, vault door, and exposed brick walls. The open dining layout encourages interaction, adorned with family photos for a homey feel.

Though famous for flatbreads, Rail Trail boasts diverse offerings, each component is made in-house. Notable flatbreads include "Fig & Walnut" and "Mexican Street Corn," alongside the popular "Primo Pepperoni." Appetizers like "Hot Tots" and "Sesame Cauliflower" showcase Rail Trail's culinary creativity.

My significant other and I were the only ones in the restaurant for brunch and we had to wait a bit for our food, we both got bowls, and drinks, which were an iced coffee and a mixed drink. When the food came out, half our food was warm and half of it was cold. It was evident that the food was not freshly made. Unfortunate and sad brunch experience here.

First time that we’ve eaten dinner at Rail trail and didn’t have flatbreads. We were not disappointed. From the appetizer to the meals everything was great. We tried the Buffalo chicken nachos for an appetizer which was a special tonight but seems to be headed to the regular menu with how good it was. Great entrees, great service. Recommend to anyone dining out with their kids. The music and environment are very kid friendly.

Manager was very friendly. Made great suggestions. Took his time in a good way…didn’t rush our experience.

Food was great and our server was very nice. The place was more lively and the kids enjoyed the restaurant.

Great night!! Food and Service- Excellent. Pretty loud near the brick fire section of the restaurant. Next time I’ll request away from the kitchen, maybe it won’t be as loud. Otherwise, everything was awesome! Will definitely go back!!

It was our first visit. We were celebrating my daughter’s college graduation and we will go back in a heartbeat! Everything was great-we even had Santa stop at our table! Very clean, VERY busy!
