The Rail Trail Flatbread Co., celebrated its grand opening on 12/12/23, marking not only a milestone in Milford's downtown revitalization but also a nod to the original Hudson location's success. Built in a meticulously renovated former bank that features a spacious restaurant and bar, outdoor patio, and upstairs events space, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The Milford location reflects a two-and-a-half-year renovation effort, preserving historical elements like the century-old clock, vault door, and exposed brick walls. The open dining layout encourages interaction, adorned with family photos for a homey feel.

Though famous for flatbreads, Rail Trail boasts diverse offerings, each component is made in-house. Notable flatbreads include "Fig & Walnut" and "Mexican Street Corn," alongside the popular "Primo Pepperoni." Appetizers like "Hot Tots" and "Sesame Cauliflower" showcase Rail Trail's culinary creativity.

I made my own flatbread which was amazing, I ate the entire flatbread. My husband had the pork gyros and loved it. We got to speak with Santa, which was a real nice touch and the Manager was very nice and spoke with us before and after we had eaten. Definitely a place to come and bring friends and family or just a quick bite.

Our party of 14 had a wide variety of ages, from age 1 to 76. Our server, Jess, was very accommodating to everyone’s needs. We had a great time and the food was delicious.

We had a lovely time at the Milford Rail Trail. When we were first seated, my husband was seated by a window and was chilly. He spoke to a manager and we were moved without a fuss (which wasn't easy I'm sure as they were quite busy). Our waitress was friendly, helpful, patient and attentive. The appetizers were yummy, especially the truffle feta fries - could not stop eating them! We all ordered flatbread pizzas which were very good as well. The only "complaint" would be some of the edge pieces were burnt on the bottom but it wasn't something we wanted to complain about.

You can never go wrong with the chicken parm bowl. We also love the flatbreads.

Loved the ambiance - cool open kitchen area with the beautiful pizza oven. Server was great and savvy to allowing my party to take our time and have good conversation Actually was a little disappointed with the salad with salmon... OK but nothing to rave about. Would definitely go back.. thx

It was our first time visiting the Rail Trail Flatbread Co. and the food was delicious! We ordered the pepperoni pizza, beet salad, and chicken parm.

I was disappointed that the dinner menu was not available. Maybe it's something that I missed when I made my reservation. My adult sons had the pizza and they both enjoyed it. I was able to order my meal (thai chicken dish) that was only on the dinner menu-but it was cool, not hot, which is very important to me. When I the waiter asked how things were I did mention it and he didn't offer to reheat it, but that "I could heat in the the microwave at home." I also had to ask for water as it wasn't offered when we looked at the menu.
