   Very cool restaurant tucked away in what feels like a hidden spot. Dining is set up in a house that was converted but it still very much has that house feel which is fun and unique. The service is five star and the food is delicious. We had a reservation and there was no waiting for seating. Food, drinks, after dinner coffee and dessert were all served quickly without the typical long delays you often get at upscale restaurants. The only negative for me is that there’s no separate waiting area before you get seated. You walk in the house and you’re right in the middle of one of the rooms with people seated to eat, so for the short time after you arrive before you’re seated it feels like you’re bugging the people seated in that first room. However this visit when we were seated our table was in that room and I will say that not once was I distracted or iterated by people arriving… so it doesn’t actually hurt the dining experience for those tables… it just feels a little awkward for the arriving diners. Personally I still wish they figured out an outside staging area for the short wait before you’re seated to eliminate this. I’ve been here three times always in a large family group. Tonight we were a party of 9 and like I said everything was perfect. That’s been true every time so far. However I think this place would also be a very nice upscale date night too. So I think it would be hard to go wrong here. Definitely highly recommend.

   It was my first time at the restaurant. I’ve wanted to go and it didn’t disappoint at all!! My stash was delicious and the Seabass was also perfect! It was just shortly on the loud side at times. But I’ll definitely be back when it warms up to experiences the fire pit!

   Carlos was incredible and supportive. He brought that family ambience to our experience! We loved it!

   We sat outdoors, fireside, on a beautiful Southern California evening! Wonderful food and staff. Thank you to Ryan and our great waiter. It was a lovely, intimate birthday celebration for my mom. She loved it.

   Wonderful dinner after coming back from the symphony. Sara is a great server. Ambience is great. Drinks and dinner (we had The Artichoke) were outstanding. Another very enjoyable time at The Raymond!

   Great place to take friends and their children. Very accommodating. Food excellent. Servers and staff professional and friendly.

   We did the DineLA 2025. Everything was delicious. I had the chicken, husband had the halibut. Reason for removing star...description said 1/2 chicken. It was only 1/4 of chicken. We were seated in bar area--but there was a draft even with the outside door (to the patio) closed.

    There is a new menu. I had the potato leek soup, brick chicken, with vanilla ice. DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is always friendly and Alex was a perfect waitress but also a great friend. New to the Raymond family is Robin the new manager. This a wonderful and flexible restaurant. The food is innovative and tasty. We always have a relaxing and fun time at the RAYMOND.
