We can't say for sure as our menu is changed regularly, but we know our chef will be busy cooking up today's mouth-watering selection of home-cooked favourites from fresh local ingredients. Hearty pies, traditional Chili Con Carne, crispy Cod 'N Chips, sizzling 10oz Sirloin Steaks, slow roast Pork Belly with Crackling, Lamb Shank and our famous Red Cow Burgers (our traditional Sunday roasts are particularly popular). Not quite that hungry? Then try one of our sandwiches, generously filled with Rump Steak, grilled Chicken Breast, Tuna with melted Cheddar, or our homemade Fish Finger Sandwich

We ordered a table via Open Table only to discover this had not been booked to dine!! The manager was unhelpful about the booking and unapologetic. She blamed open table but their policy is that restaurants should update when they don't want to serve food not the other way around.

Met up with some friends for a drink and a bite of supper. Was the steak special night. Steak and Frites for under a tenner - good portion, and very tasty. Also believe they do excellent Pizzas but only on the weekend.

A nice-looking boozer, not at all pretentious. Not much welcome; I had to ask for a menu, even though I'd booked for lunch. Only two people in. Dreadful music blaring out. When another person arrived, and a very loud chat ensued about medication, I felt very out of place, finished my wine and left. Pub up the road was lovely - not on OpenTable so I won't cite the really great staff, superb food and peaceful atmosphere...................... They say Soviet agents used to meet in the Red Cow; I doubt it.
