Welcome to The Red Oak Restaurant, we are available for dine-in and patio seating as well as curbside pickup. If you would like to order for pickup please call 262-857-8588.

We specialize in carefully prepared local and seasonal cuisine served in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Firmly rooted in southeastern Wisconsin, The Red Oak celebrates the richness of the area by crafting dishes and drinks from locally grown produce, humanely raised animals, and locally produced artisanal cheeses, beers and spirits.

We enjoyed our evening; it was Valentine’s Day so they were very busy. The Cedar Plank Whitefish & Steak & Frites were delicious. Our Old Fashioned’s, Wine & Complimentary Prosecco capped off the night.

Very good meal. Waitress explained restaurant history and policies very clearly. We enjoyed our meal with good friends here.

The entrees were very tasty, but considering there’s no soup or salad that comes with it, the price was pretty high. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, but drinks and food took a while to come out. For two of us with one soft drink, one beer, 2 entrees and tip it was just over $100.

The food selection varies, so not everything you crave will be on the menu, but it's a really good brunch. Service is amazing, food quality is good (the salmon was a bit fishy tasting, but acceptable), and the cocktails were delicious. I like the hospitality fee vs figuring out a tip, but that also makes them a little pricey for their food. A good to excellent experience, and we'll be back soon!

We arrived for our 8pm reservation at 7:30 on a busy NYE. We were seated at 7:45 at a table for two in the middle of a walkway. Two women that were bussing tables LITERALLY rubbed their behinds on our table. Two servers bumped us as they passed. We asked to be moved, and our server did make another table available. After moving, our server didn't return for 15 more minutes and at that time we placed our drink, appetizer and entrees at that time. Our drinks were delivered a few minutes later. Our server didn't return until almost 8:45 to just tell us our appetizer would be out shortly. It did arrive, and it was good. After that, around 9:10 a runner delivered someone's food to us. I had to get up and go find the server to get the error corrected. In retrospect, we should have eaten what they brought. Our server returned to the table at 9:15 to tell us our food was almost ready, but at that point we told her we would be leaving. We did not take what was allegedly prepared. The server did return with our bill for the drinks and our appetizer....really? We were looking forward to a great start for 2025, but instead we went home and ate leftovers.

Food and service was excellent as always. The price was good and what we expected. The only flaw was I asked for no mushrooms on my burger and it came with mushrooms. Still, I would recommend the Red Oak to anyone.
