   Our party order appetizers and each order a different entree. Every dish was excellent. Our only regret was it was our last night and we wouldn’t be able to dine here a second time. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. They were very busy so we understood the evening might take a little extra time and it did. I was looking forward to dessert but was too full to order any. If you like flavorful exciting food don’t miss out on trying The Refinery.

   Well, this was a different experience than what we had 5 months ago. The music was blasting and we had to ask three times to turn it down. The service was incredibly slow and appetizers came out after some entrees, etc. The portions were tiny and overpriced. My mango mahi mahi did not have any mango anywhere. The drinks were solid but that was it. Really disappointed as we loved it on our first visit here. And we own a house here and want to recommend the best places to people to visit but this will not make that list now. I hope they can improve… some of the dishes were awesome the first time. Has great potential.

   Great memorable experience. We had a family of 7 for birthday dinner. Cocktails were unique and delicious. Inventive Caribbean inspired dishes. We ordered a bunch of appetizers they were all great especially chicken drumsticks. Lobster was absolutely delicious and a huge portion. None of us was vegan, but we ordered Trinidad Two dish and it was delicious. We sat at a table on the sidewalk and really enjoyed it. It felt like a European terrace cafe, very lively people watching and colorful local taxis driving by. Service was very friendly and informal but well executed. It seems that they worked as a team, we had couple of people taking our orders and bringing drinks and dishes. All in all wonderful experience and the best meal of our St. John family vacation.

   Beware of this restaurant. Without a doubt, this was the worst dining experience my wife and I have ever had. The service was virtually nonexistent—my meal arrived and sat for 25 minutes before my wife’s was finally brought out, with no apology or explanation. To make matters worse, the pricing was outrageous—$54 for short ribs with plain white rice is simply unreasonable. The terrible service completely ruined the experience. Even if you’re desperate, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. This version maintains your strong stance while making it more fluid and impactful. Let me know if you’d like any further refinements!

   Literally sat 2 ft from passing cars on a Main Street in St John, there appeared to be only 1 server for all the tables we could see and the lobster was over cooked. The lobster seasoning was excellent and there was a lot for the price.

   The food was delicious. We're vegetarians so it was a pleasure to eat tasty food not killled with sauces. The restaurant serves Trinidad Style food. We had the famous Joesphine Greens salad with sliced apples it was very tasty, but the Johnny Cake was the best. It was a sweet cornbread with bean toppled with carrot slices. I highly recommend this entree.

   Greeted like we were family! Delicious food- half chicken entree was a meal and a half!!! Inventive cocktails, good prices. Drumstick appetizer was fantastic! Loved it so much we brought friends back!

    Food authentic Caribbean. Delicious large portions served on unique cutting boards. Wonderful cocktail menu many choices of Caribbean flair to many drinks. Food the best we have had in Cruz Bay However they are understaffed and service quite slow. Average price per dinner $40 ish. A bit loud inside.
