    Breakfast was very good. We had scrambled eggs and sausage. Very good. The biscuit and muffin was fantastic. Service was very attentive and friendly.

    Michelin level chef refuses to make any changes to the menu item..except “then leave Brussel Sprouts off the plate and order a costly starter course as a substitute.” My husband ordered the ribeye steak which comes with Brussel sprouts. He hates them. Chef is “married to the menu” and will make no changes. Waiter suggested we leave them off and order the creamed rice at a charge of $12 as a modification. The steak was already $65. And….his steak arrived cold. Kitchen prepared him another but it came as I was ending my meal Sorry….but will not be back. I have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants and have never had a chef refuses to make any changes. Normally they take it as a fun challenge.

    Dinner for two and no alcohol $224 with tip. The raw tuna appetizer was not fresh and had an odd looking emulsion with it that was not appetizing, quail on cushion was marginal but the bed of rice was ok, dumplings entree was salty and had a powerful citrus taste that was not expected and was like a pasta, the Waugh ribeye was bland and under cooked. At that point, it was not worth the time sending it back. The restaurant, I think, has just opened so perhaps it will get better.

    Wow! I love this place. It’s absolutely stunning and such a great addition to Fredericksburg. The staff, especially Jewell and John the beverage guy made the night truly rememberable.. best margaritas and Manhattan in town. We are looking forward to menu expansion so we can make this our new go to.

    Service was exceptional! Unfortunately, the food was not. We ate the Quail cushion, the lamb and waygu ribeye. Everything was cooked well, but so incredibly salty it was hard to eat. For a $300 dinner, this was extremely lacking.

    Food was presented with such style. Truly a work of culinary art. A real step above for Fredericksburg. Our server was excellent - so knowledgeable and friendly. I love the quail on black rice and the 3dimensional salad. Eating here was an event not just a meal.

    We waited well over an hour for an entree that was certainly not worth $60.00 each. The restaurant was not full so there was no explanation for the wait or the quality of the food.
