The Restaurant at Farmhouse Inn offers an unparalleled setting of beauty and culinary talent for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the heart of the Russian River Valley.

• Breakfast features elegance and comfort using local ingredients to prepare classic dishes accented with our chefs’ signature touches.

• Lunch offers the perfect leisurely setting in our courtyard amongst oak trees and passionfruit bushes for both a quick getaway, or an entire afternoon of lounging. Lunch offers scratch made, casual picnic provisions for a day of healthful indulgence.

• Dinner is the epitome of luxury with both a la carte offerings and a tasting menu featuring the best of most exciting products grown, fished, or raised both locally and internationally. The area is lovely, rustic and verdant. I took 4 friends and we were all excited anticipsting a lovely al fresco lunch at a highly touted “farm to table” restaurant . However, the food was at best mediocre.Four of us had sandwiches3 different kids. All had the same bread, and the fillings were miniscule, the cheese uninspired all with a side of fries that were not at all distinct. The one salad was simply a green salad with nothing to distinguish it. The wine list was ample and our wines fine. We each paid $47, $235 for our very mediocre and disappointing meals.

Service understaffed but nice. Tuna melt cold & little tuna with tons of white raw union & fish tacos tough shell not seasoned well😳 Wine listed unexeptable for Sonoma county!

Lovely outdoor seating with heaters. Great wine selection. The best chicken parm I’ve had in ages. Sweet knowledgeable servers.

A very nice experience overall. The hotel manager actually escorted to the Farmstand hostess and we were quickly seated. The meal was timed and we didn’t feel ignored.

I had a very strange time at Farmhouse Inn on March 7th, 2025. My group of five had the nine course “Portrait of Farmhouse” (which doesn’t appear on the site at the moment) at a 6pm seating. We were told it would be two and a half to three hours, but the meal didn’t finish until after ten. Service made several small errors, such as letting water glasses go empty, that I usually wouldn’t mind but were odd for fine dining at this price point. About half way through the menu, however, service suddenly slowed to a crawl for some reason we couldn’t deduce. I was brought a beef and crab dish I was promised would be substituted due to a dietary restriction, and when I asked, the staff returned from the kitchen with lettuce dressed in oil, which really was not comparable and felt like they were scrambling to cover the mistake. My friend ordered a glass of wine, and the bottle at hand didn’t have the full portion so the sommelier said he’d return with more, which he never did. We struggled to understand what was going on, honestly. Most of the food was absolutely wonderful, but the pace left us hungry and tired and the experience was not characteristic of a Michelin star establishment.

We had a very nice experience at Farm Stand. We ordered our foods but our waiter brought out wrong appetizer plate but told us to keep it as complimentary. The service and the foods were excellent. We highly recommend anyone to try this place.
