This restaurant delivers excellent cuisine every time we’ve gone! I udually order the fillet mignon which in my opinion is one of the best in southern Oregon. This time I ordered the duck with farro and sweet potato and it was perfect simply outstanding! My husband ordered the salmon and the presentation and taste was exquisite. Without trying the desserts I had the profiteroles with the choux pastry and my hubby the decadent hazelnut and chocolate torte. One of our favorite restaurants in South and anyone’s palate.

The service was far worse than anything I’ve experienced in quite some time. Very inattentive through the entire time. Took 45 min to get my first drink. Some staff was very unprofessional, in demeanor and conversations held with other guest while being completely unconcerned with other guests Food was fantastic, atmosphere was nice

As always, the service was superb. We reserved a table weeks in advance through OpenTable and were seated immediately with drinks in hand in no time. The Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu was a delight! The poached shrimp plate and butternut squash soup was divine. The filet mignon was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The mushroom risotto was equally flavorful, and to finish, the rich chocolate crème was the perfect sweet ending. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Definitely the perfect Valentine dinner for us.

Food was really nice, felt a little rushed, especially after our reservation was moved 30 min earlier.

We decided to do an early valentines dinner to avoid the day of chaos. We haven’t been since the change in ownership. It looks beautiful. It took a couple of minutes to be acknowledged, but it was clear they were busy, so not a big deal. We were given an option of where to sit, which was nice. We think it was one of the owners who ended up taking our orders for wine and food. She was delightful and helpful. We ordered the wild mushroom risotto and the chicken with a honey-lavender glaze. The risotto was delicious, but I’ve got to tell you, that chicken was perfection. I typically like to order unusual dishes because what’s the point of eating out if I’m not going to try something I’d never make myself? Chicken is not usually exciting. It’s safe and pretty easy, but this seriously catapulted it into a symphony in my mouth status. I also deeply appreciate that they make everything as it’s ordered. It takes a little time to get it, but it’s very much the way this sort of dining experience should be. If you’re looking for a quick in and out meal, this is not the place. If you’re looking for a lovely, leisurely meal that gives you time to fully savor your company, the atmosphere, yummy wine and incredible food, this is the place.

Delicious food. Well prepared not pretentious. Seasoned properly. Our only issue was that there wasn’t a choice of a bottle of wine for less than $50. Obviously the staff all care about what they are providing. We will be back.
