Please note that for Afternoon Tea bookings, dietary requests (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, children's) must be pre-ordered on booking. We cannot guarantee availability of dietary-specific Afternoon Teas on the day of your visit, if not ordered in advance. CANCELLATION POLICY Our booking system securely stores card details at the time of reservation; however, no deposit will be taken. We request that any cancellation be made no less than 24 hours prior to your booking date. In the event of a cancellation within this time frame, or following a no show, we will charge £20 per person.

We had a brilliant meal at The Rise. Excellent food, drinks and fantastic service. One piece of small but constructive feedback. The portion size of the truffle fries - very small compared to its price tag. However they were very tasty!

Impeccable service, brilliant food and gorgeous restaurant. I would wholly recommend this as an entry to fine dining.

We had the bread to start, it was lovely, warm aswell. We then went on the have the lobster and beef wellington shared meal. It was exceptional. Aimee our waitress was lovely and attentive.

Very nice presented and quality afternoon tea. Different from all afternoon tea done before especially the creativity for the savory. A shame that for such high standing service the menu was not adapted for pregnancy (with black pudding, pastrami, smoke salmon, quail egg...) even if notified on booking. First compromised proposed was to remove the egg and salmon (and leave the beetroot, ...) but for a menu at almost 40£ I think this is not good enough. Having compromised with the vegan savoury i ended up with half of the vegan menu and 3 time the corronation chicken sandwitch (lucky for me i liked it) which was still short of an item compared to the standard of full vegan menu. Same for the sweets, i got twice the same cake because cafe in not recommended in pregnancy. I would have appreciate a bit more planning ahead for this kind of price point afternoon tea.

Food was amazing not like other afternoon tea the food was so different and tasty, very fresh and unique. The service was very good maybe a bit too attentive. A little pricy so go with a full wallet. Would go again.
