Wonderful food. We went there for a special occasion and were not disappointed by our first experience of the World Tapas menu. We ordered 5 tapas dishes and 4 sides between 3, and that was heaps of food. Working out at just over £20/head for our savoury course(s). The cheese dumplings were fabulous! A highlight of a Windle family pub. It was a quiet evening, which meant waiting staff were at a loose end so chatting to one another - at one point we could hear their banter, but not get their attention! However they were quick to help once I was able to catch them. Good value High quality food. Thank you for helping us celebrate.

Food and service excellent, only thing that let it down for me was they didn’t have any fruit or herbal teas

I heard nothing but good things about this place ,unfortunately was left very disappointed. Prawn dish was bland and prawns overcooked,handout chips were too greasy and very small for cost. And the paella dish was very starchy and again very bland. Staff were friendly and attentive restaurant and bar had good atmosphere good selection of drinks and was veery clean and tidy. Hopefully this was a one off bad night

Booked few weeks in advance. We called on the day to say we may be a little late as stuck in traffic, they were happy to hold the table. Nice, clean pub. Perfect temperature, we were shown to our table, my husband asked for another table as it was near a window and the lighting better, they were happy to accommodate. We ordered drinks first, which arrived quickly. We ordered several tapas dishes which were all very tasty. The only problem we had was one of the dishes was incorrect, when we mentioned it they apologised for the mistake and returned with the correct ordered dish. The smoking area was perfect with a real log fire, wish we lived locally as we would use this establishment every week, overall a great dining experience.

Having been to the Royal Wootton Bassett on many occasions I was a bit disappointed in the food on this occasion I ordered the Royal roast the Yorkshire puddings were burnt and I did complain but was looked at in a strange manor the server did change them but you could clearly see they were not edible and should never been put on the plate ! The only other compliant was paying one pound for tap water !

Good food - service was okay but the younger staff couldn’t answer any questions about the menu and items asked for were forgotten about. Restaurant was clean to the eye - didn’t use the toilet. Pleasant experience overall but VERY expensive for quality.

8oz steak cooked to perfection chips over salted but replaced as soon as I made the waiter aware My husband had the belly pork tasty but very fatty, he also had the Bassa fish very good
